Newly updated unit w/ AC. Historic plantation-era Hawaiian style right by the ocean. Very romantic and relaxed place, great for your next Ohana getaway, for honeymooners, and anyone who wants to enjoy the Garden Island of Kauai. You will find just about everything that you need here to make you feel at home. Condo unit #130, building 19.
•WALKING DISTANCE TO/FROM THE BEACH• The Kiahuna Plantation is the only beachfront condominium resort on the entire south shore. Here you can WALK to the sand! Surf, snorkel, play in the waves. This resort is located on the south shore of Kauai which is the SUNNY side of the island and receives more sunshine and nice weather than any other part of the island.
•AIR CONDITIONING UNIT• Not all condos have an A/C in the unit, but ours does! Of course, if you want to enjoy the fresh Hawaii air, feel free to turn off the AC, open up the sliding glass door, and enjoy the nice cool breeze.
•FEEL AT HOME• Vaulted ceilings, plantation shutters, and a nice tropical vacation vibe. Watch TV from the comfortable couch on the flatscreen and enjoy the free Wi-Fi access. Our unit includes all kitchen amenities that you may need, complete with full-sized appliances. The four-person dining table is the perfect spot for family meals or fun board games. Out on the private lanai, you can dine at another four-person table or settle in with a good book on one of the two loungers.
•GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP• The Bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed to ensure a comfortable night’s rest. The living room couch can also be converted and used as a queen sleeper sofa.
•TOP-FLOOR, CORNER UNIT• You will have the benefit of having the most privacy in this building without having to hear people walking by the entrance door or above you. You will also enjoy the garden view from your private lanai and a partial view of the ocean.
•POIPU ATHLETIC CLUB EXCLUSIVE ACCESS• Pool w/water slide, sandy bottom pool for kids, fitness gym and classes, tennis and basketball courts, full cardio & weight room. Cabana Bar & Grill with poolside service.

Amenities? Pool, gym, fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, and more are available exclusively for our guests to use and they are all just right across the street. On-site grills are also available for BBQ–there’s one right by the building. An on-site laundry facility is also available that accepts credit card, cash, or Apple pay.

Our guests have full access to the club including the pool with slide, sand-bottom pool for the kids, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, poolside Grill & Bar, and work out equipment at no extra charge. Complimentary parking is right outside the unit. On-site laundry facility for the resort and outdoor BBQ and picnic tables are scattered throughout the property.

We’ve been visiting Kauai for the last 30 years and stay at the KP.This unit was very clean with a well equipped kitchen (i.e., dishes, glasses, seasonings, etc.). We were greeted with a wonderful snack basket including sparkling water. After a long day of travel, this was a pleasant surprise. I know this sounds odd but HUGE PROPS to the owners for upgrading to standard height toilets. So many units have the original ones and it can be awkward for taller people. lolAll in all, a great unit (and very quiet considering its proximity to the main street) I would stay in again.

This one is hard for me. The hosts were great and very responsive. We loved the location for the proximity to an amazing beach for surfing, snorkeling, and kids swimming. The Athletic Club is lovely but the pool is cold! It wasn’t just us. All the adults at the pool the entire week rarely got in due to the temperature, even though it was hot outside. As far as the condo, the pictures had me excited but the reality was that it severely needs to be painted and caulked at a minimum. Peeling paint on the ceiling, slatted doors that let all light and sound through, really old windows with broken shutters, slow draining bathroom sink, worn out tub with old faucet and poor water pressure to name a few issues. It just felt old and icky. The king bed was comfortable and the beach toys/chairs and stocked kitchen were helpful. I unfortunately feel like this condo and the pool needed an accurate review. We would honestly buy this place and fix it up, but we would not stay in it again as is.
