Dodo's Residence, heated pool & jacuzzi!

We truly had one of the most wonderful holidays here and would come back in a heartbeat! ❤️ The house is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition. Everything is incredibly well maintained, spotlessly clean, and decorated and furnished with so much love and attention to detail. You can immediately tell how much care has been put into the property, and we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. A very special thank you goes to Elizabeth! She was always available throughout our stay and whenever we had a question or needed any help, she responded incredibly quickly and was always so kind, helpful and supportive. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better host. We also completely fell in love with Melidoni itself. It is such a beautiful, peaceful and authentic little village. After our day trips, we always loved coming back in the evening to enjoy the peace and quiet. One of our little evening traditions was walking through the village and saying hello to – and petting – what felt like every cat in Melidoni. 😄🐈 There is also plenty to discover within walking distance. The Honey Museum and the olive oil factory are definitely worth visiting – we actually bought most of our souvenirs there! There is also a wonderful olive farm just a few minutes’ walk from the house, which we highly recommend. You can enjoy an amazing breakfast there in a beautiful setting. The location is also perfect for exploring this part of Crete. Places such as Rethymno and Bali can easily be reached by car in around 20–30 minutes, so you can spend the day exploring and then return to the peace and quiet of Melidoni afterwards. All in all, this was genuinely one of the most beautiful holidays we have ever had. We fell a little bit in love with the house, the village and the whole area, and we honestly wished we could have stayed longer. 🥹❤️ Thank you so much, Elizabeth, for making our stay so special and for your wonderful hospitality.

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in deze prachtige, ruime villa. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd en werkelijk aan alles was gedacht. De tuin, met lekker zwembad en de ruime kamers gaven ons alle ruimte om te ontspannen en te genieten. Een bijzonder woord van dank aan Elizabeth, onze ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Vanaf het eerste contact tot het uitchecken stond ze voor ons klaar met tips, snelle reacties en een warm welkom!

This place is beautiful..it literally has everything you need. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Pool needed for the heat, but the villa inside stayed cool during the day but aircon in all rooms anyway. A 2-minute walk to the tiny village with all the Greek delights, especially Carob n Olive... gorgeous people here. Food and prices were brilliant. Supermarket too for essentials. There isn't much here it's a little Greek village with quiet surroundings. Heaven for a chilled rest.. Bali beach 10 mins away in taxi. Food on the beach from Mambo is excellent 👌 Sunbeds and umbrellas. They look after you well. Stunning restaurant in Rethymno called Cavo with sea view.. little pricey but gorgeous.. Finally, Elizabeth, who i was in touch with, was lovely and on hand all the time to answer messages... Thank you for that.. All in all, a gorgeous place is highly recommended, and I hope to go back one day with my friends.

Nothing, it was amazing.. we would have liked 2 umbrellas around the pool, maybe, and a guest book to leave recommendations...
