A perfect stay to unwind, listen to the wildlife and snuggle by the fire.

Self Catering. All tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, and milk provided. Every aspect of our stay was provided by the host. She was most welcoming. Very clean. Location was perfect. An idyllic place.

Relaxing holiday with our dogs

Great location, lovely hosts. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Perfect for the dogs as there is a se are garden and use of the adjacent field.

My husband is 6ft4, and the ceiling in the bathroom was about an inch higher than him, so he felt claustrophobic.

A fantastic stay in a well resourced, clean and comfortable annex.

We have stayed in many self catering facilities but this was the best ever! The annex had everything we needed and more. Caroline our host was so helpful and friendly, making our stay so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful place surrounded by country sights and sounds

A beutifully presented stay surrounded by lovely peaceful countryside. Inside the property had everything we needed for our long weekend, with added bonus of doggy towels and a freezer for their food. Outside, it was great to have an enclosed garden for the dogs, and we enjoyed outdoor meals while the Swallows darted into the stable block next door. Caroline was really kind to let us use the paddock to run the dogs, and the ducks in their pond provided entertainment through the fence! Nearby, there is plenty to see and do with beaches and the New Forest within a short drive.

Reported upon departure, but not sure the fridge was working properly - didn't seem to get cold which meant some of the food went off quicker than expected. But honestly, a lovely place and definitely somewhere we'll be coming back to!

Location, garden/paddocks and pond surrounding the property were lovely and well maintained. The host made us feel very welcome without being intrusive.

Peace, tranquility and all needs catered for

Set in a private garden a lovely little self contained annex. The unit is well maintained and has been thoughtfully furnished.It is equipped with everything that one would require for a stress free vacation. The owner was charming and extremely helpful answering all questions and available to give advice on local restaurants and activities

Lovely place, good location, nice host, a tad overpriced

A lovely place, really clean, host Caroline a very friendly lady, the wood burner is great - overall it’s very cosy!

I felt the price was quite expensive, the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable for me and I didn’t appreciate being asked to pay and extra £20 in cash on arrival for my dog on top of the advertised £50 cleaning fee

Excellent location & hosts. The Annex had been decorated for Christmas with tree, garlands & fairy lights. Milk was provided as well as tea & coffee. There was absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. Even the dogs were catered for with towels & fleeces

A perfect spot for exploring and relaxing

We had a lovely stay at the annex - it had everything you needed and more! The little touches were lovely and made for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The location is great for exploring the coast and the new forest and the enclosed garden was perfect for our cavapoo! The whole family were so welcoming and friendly too we hope to return again one day.

Lovely peaceful location, close to the sea.

The whole property was extremely well equipped with the very small exception that more mugs would be helpful to save having to wash them outside of filling the dishwasher

The staircase up to the sleeping accommodation is awful and dangerous. The pitch is wrong and the treads and risers, balustrade etc do not comply with the Buding Regulations. Let's hope nobody has an accident as you may well be found liable. Should you require any professional help please feel free to contact me.

everything relating to this property was just perfect, the location, the cleanliness, not forgetting the hosts who were always on hand with loads of useful information regarding the New Forest and south coast.

Would recommend

Beautiful accommodation, welcoming hosts and excellent location. Lovely secured outside area with garden furniture and a bbq. About a 15 minute drive from Avon beach which is beautiful and has a dog friendly area. We stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed. The accommodation has full kitchen and utility items for anyone staying longer that needs do wash clothes etc. There are local take away food places as well as supermarkets within a short drive. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

I'm nervous of heights and the bedroom is up slatted stairs. Minor issue and I should have realised from the pictures - I was worried at first but fine after the first time I went up and down.

The Annex is super-nice, perfect for a couple not looking to spend their time cooped up in a hotel. Perfectly appointed with all the mod-cons, and quirky in all the right ways….
