Perfect location in downtown, few meters from the beach. Host kindly replaced broken fan for kid room. All recommendations for stay here. From amenities we were grateful for beach umbrella. Ačiū labai!

Iron and ironing table could be good addition to amenities

The apartment is at a perfect location 50m from the Cathedral and the main city square, 5 minutes from the beach. When assessing this apartment, one has to bear in mind that the area was first built in the 5th century B.C., and that the current building is at least 400 years old, and likely built on top of something else. You enter the yard through a small tunnel, which is kept clean and washed every day. It is a typical old Sicilian house with thick walls, small door and narrow staircase. The apartment has the air of olden times with heavy wooden furniture, small windows, and thick walls. It is somewhat magical, and I keep wondering what it looked like in the past. The kitchen is modern and spatious and generally well equipped. Maybe a few details could be added, like dishwasher liquid, sponge, larger glasses, or wine bottle opener, especially because larger supermarkets are a bit far. These details are not a big deal, but could improve the experience. Angelo is a great host, very kind, professional and discreet. He sent us the list of best restaurants, bakeries, pizza places, etc. We needed new towels, he immediately sent them. He provided us with an extra sunshade umbrella. All in all, a wonderful experience.

The bathtub is a bit funny, one side underneath the roof and the other with elevated bottom. The idea is probably to sit while facing the roof, but it is not the best option. Definitely not for old people, but we really did not mind.

A great stay right in the heart of the old town. The apartment was clean and had everything you need. Roberto was easy to communicate with and met me at check in! Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing is the wifi is a bit patchy for those needing to do some work.
