Sweet Pea, Southwold

Location is superb, close to everything in Southwold. The beds are perfectly comfy and the kitchen has a lot of equipment. Be aware that the hob is induction, which means that your own pans might not work, but there are plenty of induction-friendly pans provided. I should say, by the way, that if you haven't been to Southwold before, it is an excellent seaside town. A really good place to base yourself for a family beach holiday. One of my favourite beaches in the UK.

The proximity of the playground with its very squeaky fence is a minor irritant. The bathroom door handle squeaks a bit so could do with some oil. The internet is slow beyond the point of what "normal slow wifi" is like - I suspect that there is an issue with the cabling. If the owners are paying a normal subscription for their wifi they should speak to their supplier, as they aren't getting what they're paying for. The TV doesn't really have live TV (I think it has a couple of channels, but not BBC1, C4 etc)

Sweet Pea is a fully fitted cottage, so no food provided. Location was perfect, close to town (5 min walk) but quiet. All facilities & furniture to a high & tasteful standard. WiFi & TV reception good. Excellent downstairs WC & washbasin coupled with upstairs bathroom meant early out in the mornings.

The property lacks a view, but would be much more expensive on the sea-front. Pity there isn't a parking place but we had no trouble street parking 100 yards away.

Location amazing. Nice size.

Noise in the walls. Kitchen facilities need updating (kettle, frying pan. Had to disable the carbon monoxide sensor (needed new batteries). Kitchen not clean enough and pipes

The property is beautiful, so clean and in a great location.
