Cute apartament, with air conditioning and a small balcony, although there is not really an amazing view, just the building next door (police station). Everything was clean and comfortable, nice moody room for a couple. Initially it was a bigger apartment that was transformed into small spaces to rent, but there is still part of the initial charm, like the original doorframes. Washing machine and ironing table can be used from a common shared space with other apartments.

The location, although central, is right in the middle of the party area of Budapest (close to the famous Instant club), and at night it can be a bit noisy from drunk people on the streets, although we could sleep without issues. But the area does not feel the safest, especially at night. Parking is a bit problematic, since most of the public parking spaces are reserved for local people. I am quite a frequent traveler, and it has never ever happened to me before for someone to knock on the door at the exact time of the check-out (10 AM). We were getting ready to leave anyways, I was just not expecting this.

The location is absolutely perfect, minutes from great bars and restaurants, emblematic for the city. The neighborhood is very lively. There is a 24-hour shop and restaurant in the building, which is a great convenience if you arrive at night, like us. The building itself has a unique atmosphere that transported us to another era. The apartment is cozy and the terrace is a great addition. The hosts are helpful and respond quickly by questions.

The property was clean. The size and equipment were good. There a washing machine on site, did not find a hair dryer though. The communication with the host was quick and easy. We appreciated the flexibility to check in earlier. Instructions to get in were wast to follow. The location is nice, but very busy and full of clubs (we should have checked earlier). Good for party people.

It was almost impossible to sleep without ear plugs as it’s constantly noisy outside, the parties start in the evening and continue until 5am. Again, depends on what everyone prefers. The walls dividing the flats are thin. The internet is unreliable, not ideal for working
