Newly renovated three bedroom, two and half bath home on 6 bucolic acres in Canaan Valley, CT. Located at the base of the Berkshires, we are close to fantastic dining, shopping, hiking,cycling, swimming, skiing, culture,or just lazing about. Spend lazy days in our sunny three bedroom, two and a half bath home on 6 acres in Northwest Connecticut. Easily accommodates family gatherings and still has room to spread out. Enjoy the local farm stand bounty in the newly renovated chefs kitchen with a six burner gas range and large island with seating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a bright, airy dining room that accommodates ten, a living room with a wood burning fireplace and a cozy den with a fireplace. The den spills into the sunroom with views across the field. The primary suite is on the main level looking out to the field. Adjacent is separate office, furnished with a twin bed and separate access from the living room. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, a full bath and a large landing with additional sleeping and a television. Enjoy crisp evenings outside on the screened in porch or patio, perfect for al fresco dining or star gazing around the fire pit. Attached garage with ski racks. Close to Salisbury, Lakeville Lake, Great Barrington, Tanglewood, Mohawk Mountain, Ski Butternut, Catamount, Gedney Farm, Music Mountain, Butler Sculpture Park, Bash Bish Falls, Appalachian Trail, area skiing, hiking, swimming and boating.

We have stayed at this property multiple times to get away for a weekend and catch up with friends. Idyllic setting, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable lodgings. Can't ask for much more.
