Under the Oak in Shreveport - Close to Barksdale, Hospitals, Downtown, and more!

The house was pristine – very clean. Air condition was nice and cold, which is a non-negotiable in the South! Very cute two bedroom one bath house! Set up nicely to have meals in or situated to easily go out. Very peaceful at night. Very nice little neighborhood. The host responded very quickly to any questions or needs we might have had. The host was super cool and very enjoyable to work with!

The home is cozy, and decorated nicely. The couch not so much, really not much seating space but if you’re here to see the town you won’t need it! Trey was very responsive to my messages. Would definitely stay here again if ever needed!

It was a good quiet stay. The yard was nice for the dogs.

The stay at Under the Oak was decent. The house was clean but had a very musty/old smell. We had to go buy some candles and keep lit while we were there. Due to the age of the house, I know it's standard for the shower head to be at a lower height so if you are taller than that, be prepared to lean over to wash your hair. My husband is 6'2" and it was a struggle. The beds are hard as a rock. If you have had any kind of back surgery or back problems, this is not the place to stay. My Husband has had back surgery and we will have to visit his doctor or Chiropractor this week. We went to play pictionary, which was provided in the home, but the accessories did not work so we did not get play that. One more thing, the furniture in the living room is a futon and a chair. If you are planning to stay there most of time, it is not very comfortable relaxing atmosphere. An upgrade to the furniture is definitely a must. The Owner was great and very responsive to messages.Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.
