About this cabin rental
Inside, the cabin blends historic character with the comforts of a modern getaway. Settle into the inviting living room with its gas fireplace and antler chandelier, gather around the dining table for four, or prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Mini-split units for heat and air provide year-round comfort, while a washer and dryer add convenience for your stay. Both bedrooms are located downstairs and feature egress windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, built-in vanity, and private half bathroom, while the second bedroom has two twin beds. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combination is located on the main level.
Step outside to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space with a large lawn, front sitting area and a spacious back porch featuring additional seating and a picnic table. A small stream flows between the cabin and the historic Old Shell Store, adding to the peaceful setting and unique character of this property. When you're ready to explore, head into the Bighorn Mountains for a day of adventure, then return to the cabin for a quiet evening by the fire—or walk across the street to the Shell Bar for food, drinks, and games. Shell Town Cabin is a charming home base for experiencing the mountains, history, and laid-back character of Wyoming.
Please Note: This cabin is not recommended for young children or guests who may have difficulty navigating the steep, narrow staircase to the downstairs bedrooms. The cabin does not have a television.
