being near Saint Jean Pied de Port was nice, the large garden was pretty, the kids loved the hammock, the overall surroundings were pretty

The location on the road was unfortunate with cars and motorcycles driving fast at night waking everyone up. The house is in need of a deep clean, loads of dust and spider webs in corners and ceiling vents, shower barely draining, etc. Also, the house could be more child friendly (large glass coffee table, gate onto road doesn’t latch, etc) The photos on booking website need updated as there were quite a few discrepancies between them and reality, the most important being the photo of outdoor table seating 10+ when the one on site was for 6 (we were 8 so it made eating difficult/uncomfortable). Lastly, being asked for additional money for a cleaning fee OR taking on the responsibility of doing the cleaning ourselves (when it was never stated prior regardless of already being in contact) was an added stress we did not appreciate and is against Booking.com policy.

La casa estaba bien equipada con todo lo necesario para una estancia de hasta 8 personas y es un buen punto de partida para explorar Ipar Eusal Herria. El propietario muy amable.

Había muchas moscas y mosquitos. Habría estado bien que las ventanas tuvieran mosquiteras

la casa es espectacular y el enterno es perfecto para un fin de semana de descanso total.
