Location was great. This was our first time visiting Beech Mountain. We thought it was a nice area. The view from the upper deck was awesome! The house is a nice size, not too big or too small. The upper floor feels nice and open, since most of that floor has a view out to the deck and the view, lots of windows. The LARGE hot tub was great to relax in during the cool evenings.
The house could use some TLC. It's pretty easy to tell that nothing has been updated in the house for a good while. All the bathrooms need to be refreshed. Replace the old blinds and add blinds to the windows and doors that don't currently have them. Patch the holes/large dents in the walls. Consider adding central heat and air to the house. Opening the windows and running the attic fan will keep the house comfortable, but, if it rains, the windows have to get closed and the fan has to be turned off, so the house can get pretty stuffy.

The view was amazing.
No air conditioning, no broom, not much privacy when it came down to the covering of the door windows to the home are to the patio and to the patio in the matter bedroom(no blinds over the windows of the doors).
