Holiday House GALEB- 20 Meters from Beach!!

The property is small but very comfortable, clean and tastefully done, beds are memory foam and comfortable, with two single beds in one room and a double in the other. However if you plan to also use the sofa bed in the lounge it will make the kitchen and lounge area quite cramped. There is a smart TV in the lounge/kitchen area and one in the room with the single beds but not one in the main bedroom. WiFi is stable throughout the property and fast enough to support Netflix streaming. The kitchen itself is small but well equipped, however with only a double hob and no oven is not the most functional to cook in. A small standalone oven type cooker is also provided but we never used this. Bathroom is small but functional and tastefully done and has everything you need. There is one air conditioning unit in the hallway between the bedrooms, bathroom and lounge/kitchen which is sufficient to keep the entire property cool even with temperatures of 34 degrees outside. Outside the front of the property there is a nice enclosed terrace with very pretty olive trees to the front which keep direct sunlight away and the area nice and cool to sit in. To the side of the property there is a further sitting area together with two sun loungers and a retractable parasol. A manual gate provides access to a drive/car park but we found this difficult to access from the narrow lane outside the property so opted to simply park on the road along the beach some 20 or so metres away. The bay itself is stunning, with a beach bar and water sport equipment hire a further 50 metres along. There is only one fairly basic and cash only restaurant in the area, some 50 metres away from the beach, as well as a supermarket stocking most day to day items and foodstuffs just next to it. Nevertheless if you’re happy to drive there are a number of great restaurants within 15-20 mins for dinner.

Considering the proximity to the water beach towels should be provided. Otherwise every effort was made by our hosts to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible which was very much appreciated!
