About this villa rental
The Lodge is a peaceful and relaxing space for you on our property Stirling Parc.
Located in Killawarra, less than 10 minutes drive from Wangaratta, The Lodge is away from the main home and your own private space.
It accommodates up to 4 and has a well-appointed kitchenette and Weber Q gas bbq. Quality fluffy towels and bedding are provided; in winter the beds have flannelette sheets and electric blankets! It has air-conditioning and heating, including a lovely wood fire. The Lodge also has its own high speed Wi-Fi.
The Ovens River is accessible from the property for walks, birdwatching or relaxing. The large front garden is perfect for young ones to play, or to star-gaze away from bright city lights on a clear night!
The property is in a very quiet area with very little passing traffic - the loudest thing you'll hear will be the birds! The surrounding area is flat and it is a very pleasant walk or bike ride (approx 4km) around the block. The street is suitable for children to ride their bikes...supervised of course! There is also a bike path into Wangaratta.
Close to the Rutherglen and King Valley wine regions, charming towns and local walks, it's a perfect base to enjoy north east Victoria!
The Lodge is self-catering. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some basic cooking needs (oil, salt, pepper) and condiments are provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The coonara was lovely, and the place itself was immaculate. Emma was so responsive to communications, and immediately welcoming once we arrived. It was situated in a truly idyllic spot, we enjoyed getting down to the river at the back of the property. We will definitely be back!

Lovely accommodation with helpful and friendly hosts. Wangaratta is a beautiful town with incredible birdlife and scenery.

Emma was a wonderful host to my family and I. My daughter lived feeding and interacting with the chickens and sheep. The accusation was clean beautifully decorated and spacious and had everything we needed. Location was great. Less than 10 mins drive to the Wangaratta CBD but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet
