Friendly and comfortable stay in Pettneu

Fantastic stay!! 10/10 would recommend for groups, friends, or families.

Sandra was fantastic! This place far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped, the space was clean, the linens were very comfortable. We loved our stay here and it was perfect. A very quick drive into Sankt Anton for all of the lifts. Sankt Anton was way too expensive for our group. We are so glad we found the Alberg Mountain Resort!

Beautiful, modern property with all the gadgets; but excessive restrictions.

Overall very nice accommodations, brand new with lot's of the latest technology. The automated external window shades are cool.

My biggest issue were the strict hours for using the "private" spa. It is only available for use 10am-10pm daily. Your key card will not work outside of those hours, and the touchscreen for the dry sauna is locked out. This effectively prevents use of the dry sauna or whirlpool tub in the mornings, which I prefer (~7am). The host told me the reason for this was "local regulations." This restriction is not advertised on the property's Booking.com site and would have affected my decision to stay at this property. This feels dishonest to me. I verified with other hotels in the area that their spas and saunas are available in the mornings, so I do not believe the host's explanation of "local regulations." The host did not make an exception for the 7am dry sauna usage and that is what keeps me from rating this property a 10/10. Also, the heated drying racks for ski equipment do not operate continuously, which prevents them from drying out wet gear (I tried). Unless these issues are addressed, I would not recommend this property.

Amazing Place, People, and Value

This place is amazing and the people are even better. The private spa room and ski locker with heated boot racks are spectacular. When we couldn't track down an early morning taxi reservation to get to our airport bus, the owners jumped in and made sure we were taken care of. We rode the free buses back and forth to St. Anton, which was easy (bus stop is a 4 minute walk). Amazing place for a great price with excellent people.

Mooi Appartement, aardige ontvangst. Goede ligging t.o.v. de gratis skibus. Ook de winkel en div. restaurants zijn lopend (15 min) goed te bereiken.

Het afval wordt dagelijks opgehaald uit het appartement maar verder wordt er niet schoongemaakt, de bedden worden niet opgemaakt en ook handdoeken worden niet dagelijks verschoond (wel op verzoek).

Sehr modern, aber kalt

Im AMR fühlt man sich besonders, auch, weil die Gastgeber auf Wünsche sofort reagieren. Das AMR ist ein hyper-modernes, neugebautes Haus. Wir hatten ein Apartment über zwei Stockwerke inklusive privater Sauna und Wellnessbereich, die im Keller sind. Hier ist auch das dritte Bad zu finden. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir unsere Bademäntel mitbringen. Das Ubiquity-WLAN-Netzwerk wurde bestens konfiguriert: Jedes Apartment hat sein eigenes WLAN-Netzwerk und mehrere Access Points in den Apartments und sogar im Wellnessbereich ermöglichen überall den besten Empfang. Das Haus verfügt über eine gute Ladestation für EV.

In einem modernen, energieeffizienten Haus sollte man es überall warm haben. Angenehm warm war es für unseren Geschmack nur im Schlafzimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Der Wohnraum wird zwangsbelüftet mittels zwei Lufteinlässen, die sehr viel sehr kalte Luft einlassen, wodurch konstant eine fiese, steife Brise weht. Das ist zwar den heutigen Energieeffizienzrichtlinien geschuldet, aber wenn man zusätzlich zu einer Wolle/Fleece-Jacke die Mütze und Expeditionsdaunenjacke in der Wohnung anziehen muss, obwohl 23 Grad vorherrschen sollen, dann konnten wir uns nicht wohlfühlen. Schon gar nicht, wenn man sich hierdurch trotzdem verkühlt. Auch der Moderne geschuldet sind die Blechstoren aussen vor den Fenstern. Die stehen so weit weg von den Fenstern, dass das Licht an der Seite vorbei in die Zimmer scheint. Apropos scheinen. Die Licht- und Storenschalter leuchten in der Nacht und beleuchten die Räume. Als überhaupt nicht luxuriös empfinden wir die Glasschiebetüren zu den Badezimmern. Sie können nur laut auf- und zugeschoben werden, und das Licht erhellt dann das jeweilige Schlafzimmer. Wenn man niemanden weckt, dann ist das natürlich egal.
