Good communication from the hosts right in the centre of town. Has a small ensuite
Cooker didnt have a safety switch so wasnt turned off at the wall,ai caught the nob of the hob walking past and almost set fire to the apartment where i was about to leave my dog alone, from them on i didnt feel safe to do so and had to take him to work with me every day which was an extra effort. Very limited kitchen space. Shower flow was terrible and drain was worse, even a short short flooRs out towards the bedroom and reamins wet. ALso shower controls turned out to be reversed, ao advice on this to get a hot shower would have been useful. Bedroom was clean but kitchen floor and cupboards could use a deep clean (behind oven was horrible). Would also benefit from some towel hooks or dryer. Also the lobby/stairs and hin outside the housing is disgusting and poorly lit (stairs and passageway)I walked into a chair in the walkway and injured myself.

Excellent base for fell walking in the western lakes, accommodation everything you need very central in the town but also very quiet at night your close enough to everything but seem to just be hidden away enough to not get the noise.
Nothing everything was there what I needed,

Nothing unlikable about the apartment

Great location right in the middle of town, but no bars etc nearby so quiet at night. I was on the top floor so peaceful, only heard the TV in the first floor flat downstairs occasionally. No parking for the apartment itself, but paid overnight parking is available a 5min walk away. Full cooking facilities and plenty of crockery, great for self-catering. There's also a small courtyard available for residents to use (though I didn't).
The basin in the shower room was a bit small for shaving, but there's a mirror in the shower. Being on the top floor meant two flights of narrow winding stairs, so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Could do with a medium-sized saucepan (one small, one massive) and more than one sharp knife, but these are minor really.

Nice little apartment close to the harbour and shops
A lot of shops and cafés were either closed down or shut making it hard to get food you basically have to rely on Wetherspoons.

Good Location Self Catering.
I Stayed in the Ground Floor Apartment. Issues with the Heating in Main Room and no Light in the Bathroom which is a Wet Room was Flooded and Raw Sewerage was Spilling Out of the Drain and Toilet for the Last 2 Days of My Stay. Smell was Disgusting and Pungent it was Like a Swamp of Waste from the Upper Floors into the Ground Floor Wet Room. I had to Go to an Apartment on the Second Floor to Use the Toilet which is a Winding Staircase and I have Mobility Problems. I could'nt have a Shower for 2 Days because there is an Issue with the Shower in Second Floor Apartment. I had to Call the Water Company but when They Arrived at 12.30am at Night They did Locate the Blockage in the Drain but could not Clear the Blockage. They did Advise the Landlord/Owner of the Apartments to Call a Plumber but None Came. Blockage was still not Cleared when I Checked Out. I won't be Staying Here again. 😟

The host was very helpful. Accomodation was clean and ideal for our two night stop
Stairs would be difficult for the elderly but we were fine.

Nothing
This apartment was grim, we had booked 2 nights, forfeited second night as couldnt bear to stay another night and booked somewhere else. At entrance, carpet on stairs was stained and smelly. Narrow entrance was cluttered with ironing board from other apartment, door mats were stained. Wineglasses filthy and cutlery grimy, needed a good clean. Tea towel wasnt clean either and no spare clean tea towel in drawers. Nylon sheets on bed, very thin matress cover. Cheap overhead shower with poor drainage. Overall, place needs to be gutted and refurbished.

Good location. Found a good pub, The Vagabond, just on the harbour, really good food, good atmosphere.
Parking was an issue. Dirty, musty smell on the stairwell filthy carpet, when first entering the apartment, bed uncomfortable, new pillows needed, sofa very basic and uncomfortable, needs a good clean and redecorating. As in previous comments, drunken noisy people on the street.

I liked that the 'apartment' is located in the best part of Whitehaven, 10 minutes wall to the beach!/shops/museum/ pier.
The apartment was extremely dirty and with rubbish from previous tenant. I had to pay £5 a day for parking which is located away from the apartment although the location is nice because its near shops and attractions, it was also frequently visited by drunked people who spoke loudly outside. But most of the noise came from next door neighbour., constant banging and stomping feet as they walked. The apartment is ridiculously small! The shower head was broken.

Lovely little apartment.
The booking was promptly acknowledged and arrival details clear and easy to follow.
Apartment very clean and comfortable- not super modern but all in excellent repair and spotless.
Kitchen well equipped and a few handy supplies in the cupboards, full size fridge and easy to use microwave.
Access was easy and it's such a convenient location just a few streets away from the harbour and central to loads of restaurants and takeaways.
No parking with the apartment but very close 24 hour parking at Quay Street North £5 for 24 hours.
Excellent value for money and very good location.
Nothing really - it was excellent value for money.
Could maybe do with a more comfortable sofa if someone was staying for a week or so.
