About this house rental
Sanders Place is a historic river front 2-bedroom, 2-bath home just a short 10 min walk to downtown Hot Springs. The front yard borders the French Broad River. The backyard has a hot tub, sauna, and grill located on a stone patio that is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or dinner under the stars. Sanders is centrally located to downtown, hiking & river activities.
A new bridge is being constructed adjacent to our front yard. You can expect heavy equipment and noise.
Hot Springs is a very quaint town and is still recovering from hurricane Helene. You can walk to town from our house by crossing the bridge over the French Broad river. It’s an approximate 10 minute walk.
Our home features 2 bedrooms, one with a King Bed, and the other a queen bed. There are 2 full bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub and the other with a stand up shower. The internet is DSL. We have a Roku TV you can use to stream services you subscribe to. Cell service is very spotty.
There are steps that lead into the house.
We allow up to 4 guests, and only offer sleeping space in the 2 bedrooms. Our furniture and floors are not intended for sleeping.
We allow 2 well behaved pets. No pets on any furniture at any time. If we discover that pets have been on the furniture there may be an additional cleaning fee. Pets must be on a leash when outside. Any pets left alone in the house must be in a crate. No pets are allowed in the hot tub or sauna.
This home features a wonderful outdoor spa area equipped with a 4-person sauna, 4-person hot tub. (Our hot tub does not have natural spring water.) The Spa area also features a 200sq ft patio with seating, a gas grill as well as an outdoor fire pit.
Please note that Hot Springs is home to ladybugs and box elders bugs. Certain times of the year they can be more prevalent and will make their way into the house. Don’t be alarmed when you see them. There is no way to get rid of them unfortunately.
There are neighbors on both sides of our house. Please respect their privacy and do not trespass on their property. There are steps that lead onto the property.

My wife and I found this the perfect combination of access to hiking and river adventures and a relaxing place to unwind in the sauna and with riverside campfires at night. Excellent choice!

House was just what we needed. Fantastic location, well appointed for cooking and relaxing and great amenities. Love the hot tub and sauna after hiking and being able to launch kayaks from yard was a total boone. Great experience and easy connection with the host. Hate to recommend because that means future competition for me! We will be back!
