Summary:
Perched directly above the Boardman Lake Trail with gorgeous lake views, this spacious, newly constructed, top- floor 2 Bed, 2 Bath condo is a perfect hub for your Traverse City get away! Everything you need. Stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 4, kitchen counter seating, and private wrap-around patio with outdoor seating.
The Space:
The elevator takes you to the 3rd floor, where your private condo entrance is just steps away. Inside, the entryway leads to the master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a second bathroom.
The main living space opens up with natural light streaming through two walls of large windows, showcasing stunning views of the lake and sky. The area features a dining table for four, additional seating at the kitchen island, a TV, and a cozy gas fireplace—plenty of room for everyone to relax. Step easily out onto the patio to enjoy the outdoors.
This penthouse offers 1,350 square feet of living space. TVs are equipped with streaming services only.
**NOTE ABOUT BOARDMAN LAKE: There is public access to this lake for small non-motorized boats only (kayaks, canoes, rowboats, small sailboats) on both ends of the lake. **Swimming in Boardman Lake is not advised.**
Also at the north end there is a community sailing school and the entry to the Boardman River, that flows through downtown Traverse City and goes into the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay, of Lake Michigan. This makes for a wonderful paddle. Rentals are available at the south end of the lake, on South Airport Road.
Assigned, free, covered parking spot for 1 car.
ALL guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The Neighborhood:
The condo building is beside a railway line that operates a few times a month at most. It is walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and a community- owned food co-op and grocery store in the neighborhood. It's just a short bike ride or drive downtown to more restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and, of course, the magnificent Grand Traverse bays of Lake Michigan.
The 5+ mile Boardman Lake Loop Trail circles the lake with a series of boardwalks, smooth asphalt - perfect for walking and biking.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $69 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $600. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.
High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional fee.
There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

Very clean property. Had everything needed for making meals, etc. Had plenty of towels and laundry supplies. Beautiful view of Boardman Lake. The only drawback was that there was no luggage cart which made moving in a little bit difficult. However, there was an elevator. Would recommend.

Easy access. Unit had a beautiful view of Boardman Lake. We had a relaxing stay in the middle of a snow storm. Enjoyed the gas fireplace, expansive view, spacious bedrooms and baths, and comfortable beds. Shopped at the coop. Made meals and family memories!

I received an email a week before our stay at Boardman Ridge Penthouse, stating that there was construction in front of the building (between the terrace and lake). I expressed concern to Katy, the property mgr, who said she would get back to me the following morning with alternative options. Two business days later, I had to reach out to her again for a status. The next day, she provided one alternate location-which was an antiquated cabin for $800/night; and she also noted that the construction in front of Boardman Ridge had moved to the right of the bldg. In on-line listings, the penthouse now had a disclaimer that there is an “active construction site adjacent to the property” and they have “priced the unit to account for noise/inconvenience.” If there were an option, I would attach the video I sent to Katy, of the large backhoes, trucks, activity and noise that occurred daily. Despite that we had experienced the “inconvenience” and “noise” that Golden Swan was adjusting prices for, I had to contact Katy twice, only to receive a lame response as you why she, and her team, deemed I was not entitled to an adjustment. Bottom line, Golden Swan already had my money, and they are unwilling to afford me the same courtesy they are now offering to prospective buyers to keep the apt rented. Penny wise, pound foolish, and unprincipled on their part. The apartment was lovely. Nevertheless, I will never again rent any property from Golden Swan Mgmt.
