Outstanding hotel with hands on ownership amazing view from 5th floor!

Location was excellent with amazing 5th floor deck views! Ownership very involved, kind-hearted, and working every day to ensure outstanding service, excellent staff, super clean, attention to details (decor, amenities, beautiful breakfast, extra comfy blanket for bed). Studio room had refrigerator, micro/cooker, sink, dishwasher, expresso machine with pods, and cookies!

For the price, breakfast should have been included.

This is a fabulous, small but comfortable hotel with the friendliest owners and staff ever.

Booked a one week stay at the hotel on the recommendation of a close friend who had stayed at the hotel run previously by the owners Daniela and Graziano and it could not have been a better recommendation. The hotel is beautifully appointed in a modern style and spotlessly clean in all areas. It is perfectly located in the lovely town of Stresa, an ideal base to explore Lago Maggiore. The room was comfortable with quiet air conditioning and at last, a sensible thin quilt suitable for a summer stay. Best of all though are the superb staff. We were there for our 40th Anniversary and everbody helped to make it a wonderful stay. Special shout out too to Marta and Sara on the front desk and Simona in the bar (who makes an excellent Negroni by the way). I could not recommend this lovely hotel enough. With only 13 rooms, it felt so much more intimate and friendly than the large, faceless hotels one so often sees in tourist areas. Everything was just perfect for our stay, I already miss having breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the stunning views of the lake. Thank you everyone for making our time with you so memorable.

We had a delightful and relaxing 4 days exploring Stresa and the beautiful islands of Lake Maggiore

Such a wonderful boutique hotel on the esplanade, close to restaurants and attractions. Daniella and Carlo are the perfect hosts they made us feel like part of the family and the staff were always so helpful and professional. The delicious breakfast is served on the rooftop with a fabulous view to the lake. Our favourite hotel on our month long holiday. Highly recommend!

Everything was fabulous

I instantly felt at home in my single room. Spotless, it felt safe, was well appointed and had a very comfortable bed and pillow. The staff were highly professional, personable and knowledgeable but not intrusive. The rooftop is an excellent facility for breakfast and evening drinks with the view over Lake Maggiore. Perfect location to hop over the road for the ferries, and the right side of Stresa for the chance of free parking!

I had the warmest welcome in Sempione Boutique Hotel. You can immediately feel the people’s devotion to their work, their efforts to offer the guests the best experience. They even baked some traditional cookies for the guests which were absolutely delicious. The room was neat and nicely decorated and the view amazing. Their service extended even beyond check-out as they offered support in recovering my lost airpod. Unfortunately my trip was short this time, but I will surely like to return on a next occasion.

Sensational staff and fantastic hotel in best location

An exceptional hotel staffed by exceptional people. Here you a person not a room number. Nothing is too much trouble: from a comprehensive and friendly tour on arrival, through to dropping everything to sort out a taxi to the airport when our firm let us down. We made use of every facility and loved the drinks available on the stunning roof-top terrace which really does offer amazing views.Just a stone's thrown from the ferry embarkation point and all the shops and restaurants, it couldn't be better placed, allowing us to come and go so freely during the day, always greeted personally with a welcoming smile and genuine interest. A rare treat.

Our favorite stay in Italy

This boutique hotel has everything! Rooftop terrace to have breakfast or to enjoy an Aperitif. Everyone was extremely nice and will do anything for you to make your stay enjoyable. Location was perfect for a stroll along the lake or to catch a ferry to the islands or visit other towns along the lake. 3 minute walk to town with many restaurants and shopping. The room and bathroom were spacious and cleaned daily. Suite #204 had double balconies with beautiful views of the lake and islands with the Alps in the background. Make the Sempione for your stay in Stresa.

When all 5 family members independently tell you that they really like the hotel, you know you got to the right place. This hotel was by far the best we stayed at during our family trip to Italy. This is exceptional hotel operated directly by its owners who live on the premises (every member of their staff was extremely warm and helpful). After they purchased the hotel, they completely renovated it and thought through so many practical features and additional comforts. We hated to leave.,
