Serenity Lake: Spacious & comfy 3BR/2BA Apartment, 16 miles away from Disney.

We had a lovely time in Florida visiting family. The air b&b was comfortable and very clean. The person that greeted us and gave me the key was nice. We were very pleased that the apartment was exactly as described on the Vrbo site. I choose this place because it was close to my aunt and it looked comfortable for my mom and brother. We look forward to staying there again the next time we visit Florida.

This property is a hidden gem! Nestled near a gorgeous mansion (seriously, can I be adopted?), the guest house offers a serene lakeside escape with direct backyard access for boating or canoeing. Nearby trails are perfect for walks or runs, adding to the charm.The house itself is massive—bigger than the photos suggest—with oversized rooms and abundant storage, including walk-in closets and a partially walk-in pantry. Bathrooms are luxurious with waterfall showers, private toilet rooms, and lots of space. There's also ample parking behind the property.However, its remoteness may not suit everyone—it’s a 40-50 minute drive to Disney and Universal Studios without tolls (around 30 minutes with them), and there are no stores within walking distance. Arriving at night can be tricky due to the dark surroundings, though it gets easier once you know the location.The open-concept bathrooms have no doors, leading to drafts, and slippery floors can be a hazard. The hardwood steps can be noisy, especially late at night, and the tenant on the first floor means you’ll need to climb a flight of stairs. The apartment’s large size is both a blessing and a curse—it’s a trek to communicate from one end to the other, and sound doesn’t carry when doors are closed.Despite these quirks, the location was perfect for the wedding we went to, and the hosts were easy to reach. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! We only wish we could’ve extended, but it was fully booked!
