Always a pleasure to stay here, stunning rooms, comfortable beds feels luxurious with the claw foot baths and way the rooms are dressed.

We booked this hotel as we just moved to the UK and wanted a place to stay close to my work place until we find a house. There are both pros and cons we experienced. First, good points. This is a nicely decorated old house, rooms are spacious and located in a quite area. If you want some greenery to view and a quite place, this is ideal. Room had all the facilities mentioned (except mini fridge - not working). The negatives are these to be aware of. The hotel is quite old (no complaints about that) but had issues with maintenance. This location is quite far from the city and hence, no other place to find food or for a quick grocery shopping if you need some thing. The staff were friendly and supportive but house keeping was not consistent. Only one house keeping staff did a great job and all others just refilled water, tissues, tea and coffee and ran away without even making the beds or changing towels. We had to remind some days that house keeping was not done for 2 days and ask for the supplies. Last day of our stay, we had a surprise in the morning. The hotel staff informed that the chef didn’t turn up and hence, no full english breakfast offered that day. We had some continental breakfast (cold food) and tea and coffee only. The hotel did a refund of 50% for that. But this shows the incapability of the hotel management. There should be a back up plan for a hotel for situation like this. There were only less than 10 people for breakfast that day and if they cannot have a plan for serving only 10 people, how do we trust them for a bigger event? They could have simply order food from somewhere and serve the customers instead of simply saying that chef didn’t turn up. Overall, we had a pleasant stay but the hotel management should be more efficient and organized to provide a better customer service.

We stay for only one night after visiting Bletchley Park.
The hotel is near by so it is convenient. The room is very nice.
BF is good nothing extra.
