This is a TRUE and ACCURATE assessment of my recent stay in Gdansk which is the whole reason for giving reviews. I wasn't informed beforehand that the apartments were surrounded by building sites. Work began at 06:30 where heavy machinery and other noise meant an early wake up call each morning. The only view from my window was other new apartments under construction. See photos below. As a previous reviewer has mentioned I also woke up with bites on my shoulder presumably from bed bugs. No light switch in reach of the bed, no information leaflets about tours, local attactions or local public transport in room or at reception where staff seemed reluctant to communicate as much as a good morning. I can't give a recommendation for these apartments. There is plenty of good accommodation available in Gdansk. I have stayed at some and so have my friends.

So, my son has a condition where he cannot control his temperature. We specifically booked a deluxe apartment which was described as having air conditioning. I"d read on previous reviews that customers had same experience ( no AC even though room description stated it had!) Id tried contacting RentPlanet via their own chat via website, by WhatsApp, by emails and via Expedia. Their communication was none existant. On our travel day, i contacted Expedia who spoke to someone at RentPlanet called Pavlov, who told the Expedia agent tbat there WAS AC anc not to be concerned. Surprise surprise NO AIR CON. Just a fan that blows warm air around. Oh and add to the fact that the balcony door couldn't be opened as it was damaged! Sign up to say not to open! Absolutely disgusting service Misleading and incorrect advertising. Expedia have escalated the case to get a refund. If not, i will be contacting my credit card and do a Section 75 claim.

Brand new, spotless, dishwasher, washing machine, heating, microwave, heating rings, balcony, overlooking The Motlava & view of the shipyard. Close to WWII museum, Post Office & Amber Church. It will be perfect when the building work is completed in the surrounding sites. That didn’t stop Me from taking advantage of the balcony (weather permitting!).

There were no air condition in the apartment as promised, which was the main reason we chose that apartment, as we travelled with two small kids. It was difficult to talk to someone about it, as everything was by email, as there were no receptionist besides in the middle of the day, when you’re out exploring the city. The apartment lacked a few remedies like a dish cloth and dish towel in the kitchen, salt and relaxant for the dishwasher, salt/peber/etc in the kitchen as well. Also beside the noise from all the boats floating up and down on the stream outside (which the kids loved to look at), it was a good and clean place to stay in Gdansk.
