We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. The bathroom was very small and could use some improvements. The food at lunch and dinner was excellent. The included traditional breakfast was decent. The place was very clean, and the staff was courteous. It was perfect for our needs, and we appreciated having the grocery store right next door.

I have visited this hotel for the last few years and I'm always impressed with not only their service but their attention to detail. The pool area is looking great and I can't wait to see it completed.

The room was a nice room but it was not very clean and they did not clean while we were there. The safe door was locked open so I went to the front desk to let them know it did not work and they said "Oh, didn't I tell you when you checked in? You need to take the key and put your things in it and lock it and then bring the key back and ask for the key again when you want it out." So, first, no they did not tell me that, and the reason you use a safe is so others do not have access to your stuff which would not have been the case if the front desk has a key to your safe and belongings. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
