    Visited hluhluwe game reserve and sodwana bay, used ezulwini for 2 nights, 2 families with kids, will definitely return when visiting the area again, rooms very good, cleanliness in rooms and facilities, pool was stunning in the evening, staff is very friendly, quite and very relaxing,

    Booked on short notice for new year's eve. Absolutely nothing happening at the lodge that night. Check-in was poor with zero details given about anything. I asked about dinner and this was just too much effort. No idea what could be offered but it would cost R200 whatever it was. WiFi they want R50 for but whether that was per day/per device, again not explained and poster was only way I found out about it. Room was small, with outdoor wooden chairs inside with random drilled holes everywhere, same as the cupboard doors that have no handles. No fridge or TV or cooking facilities and no private seating outside. Lodge rooms all step out onto the same porch that's a square cul-de-sac. Mattress was firmish foam but way too thin so can feel the base when sleeping sideways. I did both walks mapped out on a board and signposts, nothing special and a bit too open and then closed dense bush extreme variations so didn't see much birdlife. Entirely forgettable experience
