The staff were great. Not sure I agree with the €50 refundable deposit. The rooms could have been cleaner and the curtain didn’t close fully.

The location of this hotel is great, but apart from that it wasn’t good. When we arrived it was 34 degrees and when we got into our room there was a machine with air con buttons but it was blowing hot air into the room (unbearable) we went to reception to ask and they informed us there was no air con and no way we could change rooms, we asked for a spare fan and tried to stay through the night as we didn’t have an option. The hotel was a bit dodgy and when walking to our room we spotted somebodies drugs which had dropped out of the bag on the floor. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up leaving after 1 and getting somewhere else. We tried to contact Expedia about this (they were great) but the hotel refused to give us a refund for the one night and wouldn’t cooperate with us or Expedia. It’s a shame as the location is great and some of the receptionists are great but it wasn’t great at all

This is my first time ever having to leave a hotel after spending just a couple of minutes in the room. The sheets had yellow spots, black spots, oil spots and long black hair. The wall was also covered in some large white stains. Did not really have time to experience the rest, but the room felt like a sauna and a scooter passed by and it sounded as if I was standing in the street.

Bed bugs everywhere, bitten to shreds. The street is too busy until 2am every night to sleep and the windows in our room wouldn’t close. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Disgusting, unclean and a health hazard.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had. The room had no window, dirty sheets, and a lousy mattress. There were foul smells all over. The only good thing is the location. We booked four nights but left after one night because it was that bad.

I stayed at the hotel during the International Rotterdam Film Festival. Location of the hotel is very convenient and at a walking distance to many of the festival venues. The room was comfortable with new and clean toilet and shower facilities. Room was quiet in the nights. Sound and light proof. My only concern is about the central heating system. It cannot be controlled via the pad in the room. It was a bit warm for me in the nights. Maybe better than feeling cold but still:)) I am satisfied with all the rest. Thanks to the staff as well. They are always ready to help with a friendly attitude.

The room was not clean at all the ground was dirty like no one has vacuumed the ground. The hotel itself also not clean the reception was also dirty. The room was freezing cold! I asked the staff why it’s like this they answered we has a central heating system to all room and you couldn’t control the room temperature! Very very bad

The room was extremely basic as I expected, but even then it wasn't a great stay. An external fan was placed in the room but didn't really do much to cool the room. There was a single hanger but no where to put it. There was coat hanger but there was shelves in the way so couldn't use. While the bathroom was a decent size and a good shower, the toilet didn't seem to flush very well and had to use it a couple of times. The tap was very loose and lighting in the bathroom wasn't great as when using the mirror you only saw a shadow on your face. There seems to be mold painted over in one of the corners of the main room. Outside of the room, the lift wasn't working and so there was a lot of stairs to my room. There was also leaks happening in the foyer. There wasn't clear enough signs for large steps and also fell. Staff was pleasant enough but I can't recommend this hotel. Maybe as a one night stay but overall it wasn't a great experience.

I unfortunately did not check the reviews of the previous customers before booking and that's why I've expected to see some unacceptable things. You will see it immediately when enter the lobby, old furniture, very dirty surfaces and a kind of neglected place. The premises has no elevator, which can be for some people unpractical, everything you see is old and defect. The carpet on the floor before entering the room is very dirty with staines, you enter the room and wave of very unpleasant air hits you in the face and then you would realise that is full with mold. You can find mold around the windows, on the walls and in the shower area. Taking a shower was also kind of a nightmare, since the water doesn't mix, so you can't basically have a proper shower because you will struggling to to get a relatively warm water to shower properly, but you will never succeed 😅 The water would be either burning hot or ice cold. I have never tried to ask anything from the people sitting behind the desk, since you would realise that they are just some students trying to make some money and that they wouldn't be able to help because they don't have the possibility nor the material to assist or help, adding to that that they aren't professionals. In few words, never ever again.

The experience overall was extremely poor. The lift was broken and the room was on the thrid floor. When I got to the room the shower was not connected, the bin was broken and the bedside light did not work. I will not be staying again

Well first of all i was in shock that there was no breakfast included my reservation and they say we have to go outside to have breakfast at other restaurants... then they ask 50,- euro this cant be payed by card only visa so we have to pay contant. There is no kitchen so there is np possibility to order something, then we have to take the stairs to the second flour because the elevator doesnt work, then we put the tv on, it also doesnt work... they only thing thats ok isthe shower and the bed. TIP: book here when ure traveling through.

Lovely helpful staff. You get exactly what you order, a room with a bed. A basic room with no extras like tea/coffee making equipment. However the bed was very comfortable and the new shower room with powerful shower was top notch. Good for a stopover or 48-hour stay but wouldn’t book a longer break around it.

We stayed at H3 for 6 nights in total. On arrival we were pleased with our room. However, on closer inspection we were placed in a room that had broken aircon/heating which was constantly blowing freezing air- As we stayed in January’24 the temperature was already extremely cold. Making staff aware they informed up that they would turn it off from their main system, however when we came back in the evening after long day out we were unpleasantly suprised that this had not been done. We were then provided with a faulty space heater which was sparking during use and acted as a major fire hazard. The next evening we came back to the same issue so we shared our concerns to a different member of staff.The second member of staff after some pleading eventually came up to the room in order to check the heating system. This member of staff also questioned why we their colleague had provided a heater which had been in the ‘broken’ pile. The second main problem we had was the cleaning facilities. We put the cleaning sign up on day 3 of our stay.- No one came to clean the room whilst we were out for 8+ hours, despite our cleaning sign being put up the evening before.The bins were only emptied once throughout our stay - considering these bins were tiny it was very dirty. When the hair dryer was used in the bathroom a thick oil leaked onto the counter and subsequently our toiletries. The room also had mould which was covered up by a chair. I would not recommend staying here. AVOID AT ALL

It's a typical 2-star hotel useful as a crashpad for tourists. Good location, close to metro and many restaurants. No AC (typical for Europe) but windows didn't open very large and on a busy street so very noisy in the evenings. The staff happily gave me a fan when I asked for one, which helped. Bathroom is TINY; be prepared to get everything wet when showering. Fresh towels provided when requested, as per normal for Europe. No elevator! Be prepared to haul your bags up stairs. Decent place, served my needs.

I think it’s a good hotel with a pretty personnal but the accessibility to our room is difficult because there is only by stairs. And we got a room with so many hair on the floor and that’s almost disgusting. Morely their kind of shower is not usual.
