I love the staff! We chose the Golden nugget because we knew we’d get a nice room. But The girls are wonderful and go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The price is perfect every time. While we we there 3 times in 2 weeks, the TV didn’t work because of an issue with direct tv. Hoping they get resolved before we go back. Otherwise we highly recommend!

The bed was really hard and the pillows were very small and flat. Additionally, there was not a dish for the round soap in the bathroom and no makeup remover pads or other bathroom aids. Overall, disappointed in their bedding. We woke up with sore backs this morning despite paying $200.00 plus for the night…

Staff was not available when we arrived she was tending to some maintenance issues which turned out to be cable related, ended up not having cable so TV’s didn’t work didn’t offer anything just said after checked in oh by the way no TV. No wonder they claim non-refundable

The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Someone dumped a cup of coffee all over our white car during the night which we woke to Saturday morning but staff gave us rags and water to wash our car and security promised to look thru the tapes to see who had done this for no reason.

Hotel is gorgeous…remodeling beautifully! The lobby is very inviting and the staff was top notch. Our room was wonderful, extremely functional use of space and beautifully decorated. Would have loved to stay longer and would definitely return. Across the street from Salt Grass Steakhouse, which was delicious. Walking distance to multitude of local eateries and casinos.

Food was greatly LACKING. Notices everywhere to order from saltgrass online and pickup order ..easy?? NO after trying to order online for an hour, I went to saltgrass and was told by host at door they haven't had online ordering for over a year. He sent me to bar to order take out and after waiting 20 minutes NO ONE helped me. After I interrupted a girl working bar area, she said they were far too busy to take my order! Hotel had me sign paper stating I could NOT bring cooking equipment into building..no microwaves anywhere. Very disappointing and disturbing to be treated so poorly and not providing access to food! Room was worst room in the hotel. In Cripple Creek, Colorado my room was on bottom level facing a brick wall!! Unable to view mountain, town, sky, ANYTHING.

Hotel was nice but was charged an $11 resort fee per day- but not sure what it covered. Pool was located off site at another location that had to be driven to. Room was never cleaned during the 4 night/5 day duration of our stay. We emptied the trash ourselves and had to get more toilet paper from the front desk.

The person who helped us check in was GREAT! Went above and beyond to help us. I became very ill and we were greatly assisted in several ways. I actually had to check out before midnight and go to the emergency room in Woodland park. We were shocked that Cripple Creek had no grocery store or drugstore or emergency surgery!

I thought I was booking a great hotel experience for my husband and I. We got there a little early and asked to check in if room was ready. Sure for $25 extra! No thanks. We’re told the indoor pool and fitness center was located at their “sister” property which was up a hill and needed to drive there! No thanks, but were still charged a “resort fee.” There was NO coffee or tea offered in a common area and just instant in our room. No thanks! After taking a shower I found the hairdryer did not work. Called the front desk asking for someone to exchange this for one that worked. Was told sure I could come to front desk and exchange it myself since she was the only person working at the hotel at that time, 8:30pm. No thanks! To get to their casino we had to go outside and across the street. No thanks! This Golden Nugget was not an experience we would ever repeat, such a disappointment!!!!

The hotel is great rooms are very nice and clean. One issue wish the hotel. Had a coffee bar and drink bar in it. Don’t have to go across the street to the casino to get coffee.
