About this cottage rental
Located in Ambleside, this welcoming cottage lets you experience it all. Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Skelwith Force, or easily tackle the quick 4-minute drive to Lake Windermere.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and cookware. And you can even travel light because you'll have a washing machine. Other amenities at this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental include heating and wardrobe or closet.

Edna’s Cottage is wonderful. It’s in the ideal location with paths on the doorstep with a range of walks. It was quiet and we spent time in the beautiful garden which was magical. There was a lovely traditional range and an adequately kitted out kitchen.
The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower.
The double bedroom has a comfy bed and a large closet for storage and hanging clothes.
The two single beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable and two of our group had difficulty sleeping in them.
The hotel and pub are next door with a basic menu but don’t really cater for alternative diets
Cheaters by the river is a great cafe with lovely food and a super gift shop.
We would recommend this cottage but bear in mind the single beds!
