Everything clean where it should be staff we're helpful and pleasant which made for a really good stay

Lovely hotel, nice atmosphere, good food and friendly staff

Room was basic but everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet. Staff were helpful. Breakfast, a very good selection and very pleased.

I had a lovely spacious corner room with sea views. The bed and pillows were so comfortable i had the best nights sleep id had in a while. The staff were so friendly and always on hand if you needed them. Great location on the sea front. I would stay again.

Staff were friendly and helpful when I called with a query and once we arrived. The room has a sea view, was lovely and warm and the bed was very comfortable. I'll will stay here again.

Room was clean and large with views of the sea very pleased .the bathroom needs a walk in shower.

We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. The first impressions of the hotel was when we parked the car and travels through the rear entrance of the hotel to reception which was covered in pigeon mess from the rear door right to the left. After collecting our key, we travelled up to the third floor in the left, which was a very frightening experience with some of the weird noises that lift mate. The first one we went in was extremely poor. I went straight back to reception and explained this so they give us keys to another room on the same floor which was a little bit better still smelled the damp. The maintenance man must be a child if you’ve seen some of the masks in on the tiles The curtain backing was rotten. Plugs for the kettle and the telly didn’t work so we had to put them on the floor to boil the kettle in another plug socket. Overall I rate this Hotel is very very poor. I have purchased the back up all my points. Regards GM

Clean room staff were very pleasant

It was dirty with stains on the floor. It was also sticky to walk on. The bathroom was filthy grime everywhere with mould. Shower had pubic hair left in it and it had grime in there with paint peeling in the tray. Also the mattres had springs sticking out and was broke one side so you rolled off it. I was very disappointed in how dirty it was but the bed wasnt fit to sleep in

We stayed for 3 nights for a Birthday celebration. With beautiful views from our sea view room. Parking was easy and right in front of the hotel entrance. Breakfast made fresh to order and of very good quality. Staff are very pleasant & friendly. They were very welcoming, helpful and dog friendly to our 2 pooches. The only criticism would be the Skirting and corners in the room was quite dusty. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and picture rails in the dining room. But overall an enjoyable stay.

Stayed overnight while going to watch a gig in town Rooms are ideal for overnight break

I didn't stay for breakfast as I wanted to get home after being to a concert the night before.i parked my car at the station as I wasn't sure if there was parking spaces.room was very clean,but people above me were moving around and the floors squeak so couldn't sleep much.

Hotel is in need of a renovation. Bathroom handle hanging off, carpets filthy, decor tired, tv remote cover stuck on with black tape, rock hard bed, dated bathroom, noisy floorboards and dead basic door security. For the price this was very disappointing.

Parking a problem

The staff are very friendly. The room is comfortable. But because the renovations are not complete the corridors are scruffy.

first room i was given the curtain was hanging off the rail. second room carpet stained and old, bathroom tiny but clean. fire door next to my room slammed constantly, very frustrating.
