Very convenient to tourist spots. Quiet neighborhood. Large rooms, kitchen is well stocked of plates and flatware. Refrigerator froze vegetables and ice built up at the back of the refrigerator.

However small the bath area is a shower curtain is a must. This bathroom had none. Thus everytime anyone showered the WHOLE bathroom was wet. The wooden floor creaked and window blinds rattled all night long. All utensils including cups and glasses (as we checked in) smelt of eggs! The bed room door was a loose fit thus if shut it (which is the most important purpose of a door) then with wind it rattled like a train track.

The communication was outstanding. The property was in a great location! Easy to walk where we needed to go and lots of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We were six and the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable. Still highly recommend it!!

The apt suited our needs for a family of 4. Apt was about 10-15 mins from central train station. Grocery store was near. Comfortable beds. Quiet. A few quirks: -the shower was clogged/did not drain well so water pooled and overflowed into bathroom floor. Contacted the hotel but did not hear back from them about this. - washer and dryer units are different from ones in guidebook. They must be new- need new instructions. But it was great to have access to these. Thanks! - only one tiny garbage can in whole apt. I contacted hotel about this and they just said they didn’t know how many garbage cans are in unit. We were only there for 2 nights, but we had to empty trash and recycling multiple times due to no place to keep trash in unit. The door to the courtyard to empty trash locked me out of building and code did not work to re-enter. I had to call my family to let me back in. I contacted hotel about this but they said the original code should work and asked me if i tried it. … Overall our stay went fine.

The contactless check in and out was very convenient. Apartment was more spacious than expected. There were a few things that would have improved the stay such as coat hooks in the entrance hall, a dishwashing cloth to wipe surfaces, another sofa for everyone to relax. Overall a well located apartment for a great city break. Everything within walking distance and a Netto just around the corner.

It was exactly what I expected. I had an Apple TV which meant I needed an Apple ID to use the additional apps. I don't have one so was only able to use Netflix. Not a major issue as I wasn't there to watch TV however it would have been better if I had the option.

The staff is very kind and willing to assist, they also speak good English so make the communicate easier. However, if you are staying longer and prefer the apartment has laundry in your room, I’m afraid it’s not. It’s the state wash+dry machine at the other floor. Overall, it’s not the accommodation I’d stay again as not meeting my needs, but I’m still appreciate the kindly assistance for their staff and being nice to me.

The apartment met our family needs well. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the showers was fantastic, the kitchen was stocked well enough and the location was close enough to the major sites and the metro. A few extra things in the kitchen such as sugar would have been helpful but overall, it was just what we needed for our trip.

Great location, close to the train station. Even though the apartment is in the city, it's very quiet. Very easy to access with the door codes and good communication from the hotel. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a good stay in Copenhagen.

There was no place to put anything (toiletries) in the bathroom. No instructions to use the stove. the elevator will only let one person and one luggage fit at a time. Lots of construction out front of the building. It is in a central location near all the tourist things you might be interested. No able to figure out how to use the TV. If you just need a place to sleep, it will work. Probably will pick a different location next time.

This apartment is in a great location - walking distance to Tivoli Gardens and several metro/train stations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen was adequate for our needs, 3 bedrooms gave us all the space we needed. Having a washer/dryer on the same floor was nice, however one of the two dryers was out of order, so it was a bit of a race to do laundry some evenings. There was quite a bit of street noise, but we were able to drown it out with the fan and our white noise machines. Except for Saturday night (our first night), when it was insanely loud at 1:30am…it sounded like someone was dragging garbage bins into the courtyard below and the noise lasted for 15-20 min. Otherwise the city noise didn’t bother us. The management company was extremely responsive and very helpful.

We were a family of 4, with two smaller kids. The placement was close to both train and walking distance to central cph and comford of having an hotel apparment was very nice. Everything worked nicely and communication and service was good and relevant. They helped with parking and we cheked in our bags though the cleaner was not done yet, No problems there. I'm sure we will return one day and use the same company.

Stayed three nights and we had everything we needed here. Netto, supermarket was within 5 min walk and you can buy food/drinks to make your stay more enjoyable. All communication was done via email and no issues. There are multiple doors to go through to enter the place and all requires security code. However, we found the procedures to be trouble free and easy. It was actually better since I didn’t have to carry keys or entry cards when entering/exiting. Now a couple of things that we noticed while we stayed: 1. Since the place was located near main roads and a business district, it isn’t the most quiet place around. It didn’t bother us much, but you will hear ambient noise during the day and gets better at night (except police/ambulance sirens going by) 2. We had 4 pillows total and all were felt tall for us. It would be better if pillows had different thickness (so we can mix and match to find out ideal neck height) At any rate, we enjoyed the stay and would visit again.

The location was great, and it felt very quiet and safe. Communication for checkin etc was excellent. Only small issues were there were a few dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, and the blackout shades didn't quite cover the window.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The apartment was clean and spacious. 2 large bathrooms, one with 2 sinks and 1 shower, the other with 1 sink and 2 showers - go figure! There is 1 bedroom with a door while the second bed is in an alcove off the sitting room. Both beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet as the apartment is off a side street with hardly any traffic. We walked everywhere, as it's pretty centrally located. It's a 10 minute walk from a metro station on the way to or from the airport, and the sidewalks with their cobblestones are not suitcase friendly! But with patience, you can do it. Communication was great, with a site that has all the info you'll need. I would highly recommend this place of you don't the 2nd 'bedroom' layout.

The apartment is very nice. It is well furnished with beds and sofa beds of excellent quality. Lines and pillows were also good quality and different kinds are provided. So no matter if you like a fluffy or a thin pillow, you will probably get one that suits you. The kitchen is also well furnished. Fridge is small, but it is not those micro fridges, they can fit stuff for more than a week trip. Kitchen utensils were also of very good quality. I just missed an oven because I have kids and we usually do kids food that requires oven like pizza for example. My only concern is the dish washer as it doesn't have a quick wash cycle, so even for small amount of dishes it takes more than two hours running. Not good for the environment. Nothing that affects a traveller life though. :) The street is quiet, there isn't many commerce around and one must walk at least 5 minutes to find something. But it is still good location. Bus stop nearby, train station 5 minutes walking and metro station a bit further but still walking distance. One plus for those coming by train, it is close to Copenhagen Central Station. I definitely recommend By the Lakes apartments and definitely will check it out again on my next trip to Copenhagen.

This is a great, well maintained room that has a kitchen, table, and comfortable sofa bed. As shown in the pictures, there isn't a door between the sleeping area and the living area, so it is basically a very large studio apartment. Getting in and out is very easy, and the in-building laundry was very convenient.

This is a great place to stay. It's clean, quiet, very thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. It was very walkable to the old city and we had no problem orientating ourselves. There were grocery stores within a 10 minute walk as well. The elevator is a bit of an adventure, but not in a scary way. We got stuck once but trust me, Hotel management has clear instructions how to navigate it, and if you follow them you'll be fine. It was our first experience with not checking in through a front desk, but it was painless and easy. Management responded to my emails without delay, and the whole experience was transparent and stress free. One thing I would recommend is that you not use the baggage storage app that the hotel offers and store your luggage at the central train station which is at most a 15 minute walk away. The reason I'm saying this is that the app won't tell you where the storage places are located until after you've booked, and you waste a lot of time trying to locate one. Also, the storage place that we booked asked us to pay for luggage insurance on top of the storage fee - which made us question how secure it was in the first place. Save yourself time and grief by renting a locker. We came off a cruise very early in the morning, took a cab to the station, checked our bags and walked from there. It was a great experience in a wonderfully beautiful city, and I look forward to my next stay. Thanks!
