Stayed at The Lit Villa in Hoi An and the location is honestly its biggest highlight. It’s perfectly situated—close enough to the Old Town to explore easily, yet still peaceful and relaxing away from the crowds. Definitely one of the best spots to stay if you want convenience without the noise. That said, the room cleanliness could be improved. It wasn’t terrible, but there’s definitely room for better attention to detail to match the great location and overall potential of the place. Overall, a good stay mainly because of the location, but with some improvements in cleanliness, it could easily be an excellent one.

The villa itself is nice, with a good location in Hoi An, a pleasant pool and a helpful host. The room and the common areas were fine overall, and for exploring the old town the place works well. The only downside was the morning noise. The host’s family seems to live on the property, and their small children were awake around 6–7 AM in the lobby/reception area. They made quite a lot of noise, which made it difficult to sleep in the morning. I understand that children are children, but in a hotel stay I expect to be able to rest, especially early in the day. Overall, it is an okay place, but this is worth knowing before booking.
