    Lovely hotel, very peaceful, however we didn’t get to go in the pool because it was dirty but overall a good experience

    Five stars for the staff, zero stars for the management, for an average of a rounded three stars in total. The room prices are decent compared to those of other resorts, and so are the prices for dinner in the restaurant. Yet more than USD 30 per day for breakfast is outrageous (so I did not take it). Furthermore, there was no complimentary bottle of water on the room. That is so cheap! Small things I noticed: upon arrival, both elevators were out of order. Lots of rust on the handle of the front door of my room. Lots of calcium on the shower head. Very annoying: the wifi wants you to re-enter the password every single hour.

    Beautiful hotel, friendly and welcoming staff, great restaurant. We had a car to get around, but they also offer shuttles to the beach since the hotel is on the Atlantic coast.

    I had a hard time choosing bw Koi/Hilton and Marriott. The benefit to Marriott is that it is on the beach and within walking distance to a number a restaurants. That being said Koi is newer (opened at beginning of COVID), the rooms are much nicer , the staff is super friendly helpful, and the price is maybe 60/65% of the charge for the Marriott. If staying here I would strongly suggest renting a car. Mine from Hertz, which had bad reviews but I had a great experience, was $40 a day (I plan and reserve way ahead of time). A taxi is $20 each ride. Koi does run free shuttle to and from the beach daily. While Koi is on the beach you do not have access to the beach
