I booked this property to celebrate our anniversary and had high expectations based on the hotel’s reputation. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to what I would expect from a 4-star property. The room initially had an issue with the door, and we had to call maintenance. While the issue was eventually addressed, the response time was slower than expected. We were allocated a room in a separate building where construction work was ongoing nearby. This created a significant privacy concern, as workers outside could directly see into the room whenever the curtains were opened. As a result, we had to keep the curtains closed throughout most of our stay and were unable to properly enjoy the balcony. The food was average and did not stand out in any way. The gym facilities were extremely limited, with only a handful of equipment available, and there was no swimming pool despite the property’s positioning in the market. What disappointed me the most was that this stay was meant to be a special anniversary celebration. I had even informed the hotel in advance, hoping for a memorable experience. While I was not expecting anything extravagant, the overall service, facilities, and room experience failed to make the occasion feel special. The location is good, but considering the price paid and the expectations associated with a 4-star hotel, I believe there are better options available in Mussoorie.
