When you get there you need to take the lift up (or take a long walk up the stairs I guess). The room was clean and we had a direct view of the basilica across the street. If Naples wins the football you might get some loud celebrations but generally it's relaxing. For breakfast you get tokens to go to a cafe just down the road (it's really close) and you can get some kind of pastry and a coffee. If you want something for dinner there are several pizza places and places to eat around (also ice cream places for dessert). There is also a few supermarkets. You can get to both the amalfi coast and naples very easily from pagani and it is neither as busy as naples or as expensive as the amalfi coast. The people are friendly and I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore the area. Just make sure you check the cleaning schedule as we didn't realise that it would happen as much as it did (the cleaning lady was very nice as well though).
