The place was like a green oasis. Lovely beach and very good food.

I traveled with my sister and we had a great stay in Matemwe and at Zanzibar Pearl. We had a very nice bungalow right in front of the beach. The hotel management was excellent, all staff extremely nice and available and the hotel has an amazing garden with tropical plants surrounding each bungalow. The beach is beautiful and all local people in Matemwe are fantastic!
Few suggestions for the hotel: to put a fridge in the rooms, as it's nice to be able to keep few cold drinks or fruit in your own room, and to find a way (maybe darker curtains?) to avoid light to come inside the room early morning while sleeping.
