Amazing and you get free Kayak and paddleboarding to get yourself to manguito area where are hot springs. Super clean and everyone is amazing

This is a very bare-bones type of hotel. There are some positives: the staff is very nice and helpful, the air conditioning works great in each room, the showers have warm water, and breakfast is complimentary, although the selection is limited. They also offer water excursions from the dock, and guests can use the paddle boards and canoe at no additional charge. That said, there are quite a few drawbacks. The road leading to the hotel is terrible. Access to the pool, lake, and kitchen is closed and restricted after 9 PM, and there is no staff available after that time. It essentially feels like a curfew because once everything closes, there is nothing to eat, drink, or do besides sit outside your room or watch TV. Outside food and beverages are also restricted, and there is no ice machine. The rooms do not have blackout curtains, so sunlight fills the room early in the morning. There are no phones in the rooms, towels are limited, and the rooms on the lower level have an odd odor and bugs seems to enter easily. The life jackets provided for water activities are old and moldy. The food itself was about a 5/10. You are also given a card for your pool towel that you need to keep track of; losing it results in a *** charge. Another issue is staffing. The dock and pool bar stations are often left unmanned, so the employees working in the main area appear to be responsible for covering all of these areas as well. Overall, the friendly staff, strong air conditioning, warm showers, and included water activities are nice perks, but the restrictions, limited amenities, early closures, and lack of evening service made the stay feel much more restrictive than expected.
