    Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff up front speak English (mostly). We were able to use Google Translate when something needed a bit clearing but otherwise, their English was pretty good. They were very friendly as well. The room was nice - we stayed on the 8th floor overlooking the lake and it was beautiful waking up each morning to the sunrise over Sun Moon. Loved that there's balcony access. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing I hated was that the showers are fully glazed glass. We stayed as a group and you could basically see into the showers to see the naked body of whoever is showering. Aside from this issue, everything else was great. The hotel also had a delicious breakfast - lots of options and good food for a hotel. I did see a cockroach in the bathroom though... but aside from that, everything else appeared clean. Location is also good. It's a walking distance to the pier and around the corner from a few local restaurants and gift shops. The hotel also has a teashop in the lobby. For the lake view, breakfast, and staff - I'd stay here again. However, I would still consider this place overpriced for what it offers. I looked at getting a beer here and it's 3x the cost of walking to the 7-11 a few minutes away plus you pay a service fee as well. So for the stay and view, it's ok. I wouldn't pay additional for anything else at this hotel - grossly overpriced.

    Hotel is abit outdated so I believe rooms and facilities need to be upgraded. Besides that, the location is good especially with a view.
