    We had a fantasy two days stay at Mito Plaza. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very kind and helpful staff.

    the decor is western and classy and the ambience just great. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The staff were excellent, even guiding us to our parking lot. They were attentive to every detail. Have some great in-house restaurants: we had a Japanese set dinner one night and a French dinner on another. Very good food.. Highly recommended, probably the best in Mito and the price is just right for the quality you receive.

    Considering the value for money, this is easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in in Japan. It’s beautiful, clean, spacious and the staff were lovely. My only complaint is that I wish the hotel restaurants had more vegetarian food options, especially as there are very few other restaurants in the area around the hotel. Also it’s a good place to come by car, but quite a pain to get to using public transportation. That being said, the hotel itself is worth the inconveniences and I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
