We had a wonderful stay at The Hungry Lion! The rooms are very clean and spacious, as are the common areas. The location is perfect: only a short walk to all of the restaurants and shops. Breakfast was incredible, by far the best we’ve had on our trip. The staff were very accommodating and cheerful. We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 !

Most amazing hotel stay i’ve ever had! The staff is so helpful and accommodating. They arranged our spa and night safari excursions as well as being available to drive us where we needed. They really made this stay unforgettable and we’re truly so thankful for how comfortable they made us feel. It felt like they really cared about us enjoying our time in Sigiriya
The breakfast was delicious, and made with so much care and attention. I really could not recommend this place enough, thank you hungry lion!! What a great place to start our honeymoon with!

10/10. The hotel is VERY clean and you can see they work really hard to make sure of that. Our host was very helpful, booking a trip for us to see a cultural dance and organising our transport/negotiating a good price for the journey for us. Very nice breakfast too. Would 100% recommend staying here.
