Welcome to your relaxing waterside retreat! Enjoy stunning panoramic views & private access to the scenic West River. With an outdoor heated pool, hot tub & sleeping up to 12, River House is perfect for gatherings of friends & family, or corporate accommodation & retreats.
Special rates available for longer-term stays & repeat guests, making it an excellent choice for extended getaways, annual reunions, housing employees, or a comfortable haven whilst renovating or moving – please inquire.

• Situated at the end of West River Drive, Durham, Pictou County, Accessible via a sweeping 400’ private drive with lots of parking

• Additional ½ bath/washroom on the main floor with washer and dryer

• Stainless steel appliances, including a 5-burner stove with built-in microwave above, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher

Towels and linens are included. For stays of 2 or more weeks, interim/additional cleaning can be arranged at a cost of approximately $300.

There were 10 of us and we had an amazing time! The outdoor space was incredible (if only the weather had been better!). There was plenty of space inside as well. We mostly sat in the gorgeous sunroom. We will be back again for sure!!

We were a group of 6 adults and the River House was an excellent location for our work in New Glasgow. 15 minutes away it was nice to have a place to be removed and relaxed. Communication from host was top notch. We had some weather before our stay and it was communicated well. The long driveway hadn't been plowed and step cleared prior to our early evening arrival, but it was done within an hour of us arriving. Would highly recommend for a group. It is lovely in the winter and looks to be even more so in summer/fall season.

Great place for us... 3 families traveling together. Lots of space for all of us. And close to quaint villages with shopping and eateries.
