The staff were amazing, the breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room was somewhat updated but the carpet needed to be replaced. The building itself needed updating but has a good layout.

Was a fantastic room shower etc with balcony, however we were woken at around 7 by workers opposite our room this is unacceptable we're on holiday and had a long days ride we needed our rest plus no food at all we had to order a takeaway and we had only 1 pillow each which thin and soft

Shame about this establishment.run down property although rooms are passable and of reasonable stamdart Main building which housed the restaurant falling apart and need a lot of TLC.saying all that a decent investment would turn this place in to a little gem. Pictures on the website particularly on the outside are clearly well out of date. Whilst handy for the town ...less than 10 minutes by car we won't be staying here again. We travel to Freiburg 2 times a year ..have been doing so for 35 years . I wish them luck .

The place is worth for its price. It is a bit farther from the city center but since the bus stop is literally in-front of the hotel, it is not a big deal. There are no other dining options around the area. Overall, the accommodation is good, it is clean, they clean up everyday or upon request, the receptionists greet you whenever they see you, they speak good English, so that helps. Check in and check out process were pretty smooth. My room was next to the street and so I can hear the activities outside, just enough to notice it and not really annoy you. Shower curtain rod feels like it would give up on you since it it made of PVC pipe. Just be careful, I guess.

The evening front desk clerk that greeted us was friendly. He recommended restaurants and called the restaurant we decided upon to acquire reservations for us. Wish our time wasn't limited in Freiburg, we would have liked to check out more of the city and surrounding area.

Spacious room, but could use a renovation. The flooring was carpet and had some old stains. I would suggest to remove the carpet and replace it with something easier to clean. Also the bathroom was rather old and could use an update. But for everything else it was a perfect accommodation. Breakfast was very good and staff was friendly.

Breakfast is decent. Access to lobby is horrible as we have to lug our luggage up the steps with no help. One of our family member's room is horribly small and hotel will not make any concession despite having booked over 6 months ago, we should have been given priority on the better rooms. No air conditioning is a negative!

Room was large, staff were very helpful, car parking at the hotel wasn't an issue and was free. Place is a bit messy, room was full of random furniture, cupboards etc. Not in a convenient location but we knew that when booking and had a car so wasn't an issue for us.

I booked this hotel as it came up with a restaurant available. I had spent all day travelling and wanted to eat as soon as I arrived only to be old that the restaurant was closed indefinitely. Leaving me no option but to travel into the town and find somewhere to dine then get back to the hotel. Not what I wanted at all.

Great quiet hotel with attached restaurant. Quiet neighborhood right opposite a bus stop. Great transportation to Freiburg. A very residential neighborhood so if you want to eat, it has to be there unless you drive. Breakfast is 10E extra but well worth it as it is an open buffet with cereals, bread, cold cuts, cheeses and eggs and hot dishes. There are also two bottles of water in the room daily. I prefer to pay at the hotel rather than in advance as there are sometimes disputes. That was the case here but it was resolved. I paid in advance and they had not received notice so take all paperwork with you.
