We really enjoyed our 3️⃣ night stay here. Great location, clean quiet well-equipped (largely) , nicely appointed and great value for money.
My only minor gripe, lack of a (induction) plate to cook on.
Also, although we hung out sign for room cleaning one day, nothing was done.

Super central so perfect for short trip to check out Braga :)
There was an angry customer waiting at the entrance sitting on a chair where normally the staff is sitting.
The hotel was amazing but this other customer was rude and annoying - was wondering why she could not reach out to any of the staff.

We’ve stayed in many different kinds of guesthouses/apartments/hotels and each one of these kinds of stays has its own advantages. This time we thought we booked a small apartment with balcony. What we got was a room with a huge shelf dividing it into a corridor and a small place to sleep. Right inside the entrance was some sort of kitchenette which was so badly equipped that we had to go to IKEA to buy stuff. The thought of trying to prepare anything but coffee made us laugh, or rather cry. We spent a week in this place and the positive side was the location and the fact that we had a view over Sta Barbara. We were also happy to be back in Braga to meet friends and colleagues. But next time we visit - in the fall - we will not stay in this place. A proper hotel is cheaper and a small guesthouse with common areas shows the real Portuguese hospitality!
