I lost one of my phones in the hotel room. This probably could've been avoided if they had a little desk beside the bed (with a charger port) where I could lay my phone and would've been a lot easier to locate just before checkout but I had to place it in the bottom layer of air conditioning stand and (as a result) and ended up forgetting my phone during checkout.
How could my phone go missing completely? You would think maybe the housekeeping staff would've been able to retrieve it and it would be kept safe for me until I was able to pick it up. But No!...It was absolutely "nowhere to be found". The hotel staff made zero effort to investigate this situation.
I should take some responsibility for losing my phone in the first place but I expected a little bit more cooperation with hotel staff to try and find my phone...just a little bit.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Restaurants, supermarkets and train stations are within walking distance. It’s also relatively close to all major attractions.
Firstly, this place is not a hotel but just an inn. It has absolutely no sound proofing. We stayed at the ground floor, and we could hear people above us while they were climbing the stairs to the second floor and while they were in the room. We could hear neighbours talking outside and were often awaken in the midnight by multiple neighbours - outside or upstairs. It’s definitely not a suitable place for rest especially after a busy day in London. We can’t even get a good night’s sleep due to all these external disturbances. It was terrible.
The staff at the counter were friendly but service was severely lacking. We were ok that there was no make up room services, but even the bin we left outside the room was not cleared for the entire day until we informed the staff. Basically, you only get the service when you ask for it.
Overall just a very basic room, with zero soundproofing. Will not stay here again as we didn’t even get the rest we were seeking.
