We loved staying in this hotel. Close to the Geopark and the Sea World, it is a great place to spend few days with children.

Pros - huge hotel playground free for guests - room was clean, reasonably comfy (bed was a tad too soft for us) - there’s ocean world right across the hotel, kids will enjoy the dolphin and sealion performance - chill and quiet area (tourist buses come in the day for the geopark and at night it gets quiet) Cons - breakfast was quite repetitive and no advance notice that one of the days were changed from buffet to set meals - it was almost impossible to book a car on Uber or other apps, hotel staff said the hotel only provides a 9 seater. They suggested hailing a taxi from the geopark which we waited for 20 minutes, and failed to get one. - The visitor centre at Geopark could assist in calling a taxi for tourists. I was surprised that the hotel did not know nor inform us about this.

Cons: The room itself is slightly dated/unclean, there were coffee stains on the table. The whole hotel is also split between two buildings, with no shelter in between, making it a hassle when it was raining. Pros: It’s worth mentioning that there was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake and the building was sound and the items didn’t rattle. The bedsheets were soft. Breakfast was good, in particular the porridge and ingredients. There is a huge children’s playroom which is free for guests. Socks are required (no need to be grip socks, but for your own safety it may be better). Adults can go in and in fact are compulsory for those under 12. Lots of seating around for parents and WiFi available (ask the staff). There are many arcade games available for play too, such as air hockey, hit the frog, Mario kart racing, motorcycle racing, and even drums. Location is good if you intend to visit the yehliu geopark. It’s just a short 4 min walk to the entrance of the park.
