Everything was great.

You really do get what you pay for. We’ve stayed at a couple of motel6 facilities in a couple of states, when finances required. None were as dismally disappointing as this site, however. Comfort matters when you are away from home. Their mattresses were inconceivably uncomfortable. We’ve slept on straw filled futons more comfortable than their horrid mattresses. Plus, they are on a platform bed frame, unattached, so they move around a lot. Pillows were flat, didn’t have any decent padding, and only two per queen size bed total. When asked staff for better and/or more pillows, we were told that was impossible. The tv is a joke. It’s so bad we won’t even waste our breath describing how it doesn’t work. Never seen a more difficult tv literally anywhere in budget on up to expensive hotels we have encountered on our travels, in any country, much less the US, our own. The pièce de résistance was how we encountered a commode that stopped up repeatedly. We politely asked for assistance with it, and were met with indifference and later, begrudgingly were told we would have to wait until housekeeping staff arrived later that morning, and they could help. We didn’t bother. We barely slept, and couldn’t wait until the next morning to leave ASAP to get to the airport for our flight onwards. The only caveat is this: the facility was very clean, well maintained, and had an elevator if you chose a room above first floor. Be aware, the top floor is reserved for smoking guests, and you can smell tobacco smoke in the facility, if you are allergic or sensitive to it. It would be a tolerable motel if they had decent mattresses, actual real pillows that aren’t pancake flat, and if they replaced all their tvs with ones that you didn’t have to constantly wrestle with. Staff might be a tad more sensitive and supportive when guests, through no fault of their own, encounter plumbing problems. Personally never coming back.
