False advertisement of this property on Expedia. The photos in no way depict the current condition of the property. Outside of property very uninviting, dirty, like old council flats. On entering property, very basic, painted metal stairs, rickety old, dirty and stained cheap wooden doors. Very small rooms, again very dirty, not been cleaned, feet were filthy after taking off shoes. All surfaces sticky. Dirty windows. Unsafe electrics. Tiny, filthy bathroom with mould around shower, on shower curtain. Thick layers of dirt and dust behind toilet. Bedding appeared to have been changed but didn’t check, slept for 4 hours in clothes on top of bed and left at 3am (this wasn’t the plan) to get a much earlier ferry. If we didn’t need some sleep after a 6 hour motorbike ride in the rain and a further 5 hours to ride once back in the UK we wouldn’t have stayed at all. Area around hotel was very loud at night with local “youths” pulling up in the unsecured car park behind the hotel playing music loudly and shouting. No secure parking. I would not recommend this hotel at all. And I am very disappointed with Expedia for the allowing of this false advertisement. Used Expedia for years and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. Do NOT stay here.

Staff were helpful, but it is possible the dirtiest hotel I have ever stopped in. We needed to get a good nights sleep for long drive the following day, but the surrounding area was so noisy that it became impossible. The bathroom was covered in the previous occupants hair and the shower tray looked like a mold growing petri dish

Vastly overpriced for this very badic and very noisy hotel. Old, outdated. No sound insulation internally. Very noisy outside. No air conditioning. No lift. Only 6 car park spaces - round the back, and only if you can get over the kerb. Definitely never going back there again.

The room itself was quite small with see through curtains and the walls are paper thin so we heard the person in the room next door talking loudly on the phone at 8am whichwoke us up. The bed was comfy and clean however the rest of room needs a refurb; mould corners of room, shower curtains dirty and exposed toilet pipe amongst other things wrong with the room. Also with the free parking you have to drive up a curb which likely damaged the bottom of my car.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Transat Bleu. It was good value for money and close to the gorgeous beach which we could see from our window. The room was clean and comfortable but a little tired looking in places, such as the balcony railings had flaking paint, shower curtain was a little short for the shower. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good too. This isn't a fancy place to stay but affordable, clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

The location is amazing. The hotel needs updating. Parking is limited and cleanliness is okay. We had two room and the second/ economy room only had sheer curtains so tons of light until nearly midnight shower smelled of sewage and no English speaking channels or subtitles available on the tv.

The hotel is bad, really bad. There is really nothing more to say. The only positives are that it is close to the beach (although you would be more comfortable sleeping in your car) and that the personnel of the hotel are really nice.

The first thing to say is that this is a 2 star hotel, so it can’t be judged as if it were a Hilton. For 2 stars, it’s not bad at all. The decor is a bit tired, they could do with some new towels, and the rooms are quite small, but the food in the restaurant is excellent, the wifi is very good, and the owner is very friendly. We paid a little extra for a room with a balcony and sea view, and were not disappointed. We would certainly stay here again.

I have never been in a more musty room. I would insult it but simply describing it sounds way worse than any insult I could make up. The floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for months, there was a feather, sticks and lumps of dust under the bed. There was an odd brown stain in the shower, mildew on the tile edges as well as on the bottom of the shower curtain. Every surface was sticky, as in it made a noice when you moved things. The air was so hot and had an odd smell, sort of like they were trying to cover some underlying smell. The pillows were lumpy and smelled old. When you flushed the toilet the shower drain sprayed water. No air conditioning or elevator.

It is definitely on the smaller side, more common to Europe, but it was comfortable enough and had hot water. We were so exhausted that we didn't really pay much attention to anything. I don't think you can go wrong staying here for a night or two, but I wouldn't consider it for a longer stay.

we stayed overnight at the Transat Bleu. On arrival. staff were pleasant and helpful. Even allowed us to access our room before the 2.00pm allocation. The room albeit small was clean and the bedding clean and fresh. However the stairs and passage to the rooms upstairs was poorly decorated and had a smell of drains. The bathroom shower tray was cracked and had black mould. The hand basin plug was stuck and would not pull out so the water stayed in the sink. There was only one chair on the balcony and there was an ashtray which had used cigarette ends in it.The view from the balcony was lovely.It stated that breakfast was served from 7.30am , which was good as we had an early departure.. However in the morning there was no staff and the front of the hotel was locked. We had to leave without breakfast and unable to hand the keys in. We had to leave them latched on to the door handle. inside . We tried unsucessfully to contact someone.

It is a basic beach hotel. The price is low and we expected the limitation. We were surprised that the city provide free buses and this location was only 2 minutes walk from one 1 minute walk from the beach. You can't beat it. Besides their friendly staff compensated all else.
