    The hotel is a bit dated but it doesn't matter when you compare what is offered by other hotels at the same price. We visited during the Sapporo Snow festival and this was one of the most budget accomodations available. The location is great, 12-15 minutes from the train station while carrying heavy luggage through the snow. Everything you might need for your stay is offered in the lobby, free of charge for you to pick up. The staff is exceptionally helpful, they assisted with sending our luggage during the busy checkout time and answered all our questions. The rooms were big compared to what you might find in bigger cities. Cleanliness could be improved slightly but if you are searching for dust you can find some even on 4star hotels. The bedding also might be not soft enough for some people, but I was perfectly satisfied as a person who suffers from back pain. Would definitely recommend

    This hotel is well-suited for business travelers. However, the receptionist was genuinely enthusiastic in welcoming us. Despite her limited English, her kindness made us feel at home. She was very attentive and invited us to enjoy a complimentary supper in the dining hall.
