    There are 12-15 huts scattered over a fairly large area of land, normally in blocks of 3. I stayed in one of the huts very close to the Mekong. It looked fairly rustic, but the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the wifi was fast, and the water in the semi outdoor shower was hot and at a very good pressure. The views across and along the Mekong to Laos were splendid. Dinner has to be booked in advance, and taken very early (at around 5:00pm) but as the sun sets around 7:00pm in late July, and there isn't a great deal to do in the area, that made sense. Also with only one guest, the staff don't want to be hanging around for ever. Although mine was the only room booked the night I stayed, I could choose from the full dinner menu and I had a very enjoyable my meal, (although I should have known that ordering a rosé beer would be a mistake!). Breakfast the following morning was also good. The owners and the few staff were both friendly and helpful and I was really pleased I had decided to book a night at Rai Saeng Arun, and I would happily return

    Great views of the Mekong River. Very quiet location although quite remote. Great for romantic getaways

    The resort is located in a location with a great view. The staff is very helpful. The location is a bit remote. There aren't many nearby restaurants and minimarts. Guests are advised to dine out and stock up before checking in, although the resort has a room service until 17.00 pm and plentiful minibar items (replenished daily).
