This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes from the main touristic attraction in the area - Bled. Very highly recommended!

Great service by everyone. Very comfortable. Clean. Beautiful surroundings of mountain and mountain stream right in front of the property. You can hear the stream from your room. Food is fantastic. And chef Ales is great. Menu is great. Very relaxing and fresh mountain air. Hiking trail up the mountain begins right from the hotel.

The location was beautiful and quiet and the room was comfortable. The service and food were superb. We opted for the 7 course taster menu and the waitress recommended perfect wine to complement the dishes. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay. Charming inn and restaurant in the woods alongside a running stream. Great service. We had to leave before breakfast started so the head waiter left a wonderful packed lunch for us at our door as a substitute. Great dinner at very reasonable prices as well. Authentic Slovenian place. Local people were celebrating a friend’s birthday the night we ate dinner. Lots of Slovenian songs and laughter. Very cool vibe.

Super sweet and positive staff. If it wasn’t for them, this place would be in ruins. I have no idea what previous guests are referring to when it comes to anything else except the personnel. We left as quickly as we could.

The staff is amazing! From the moment we walked in until we walked out they were courteous and welcoming! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet was incredible! I wish we could take them home with us! Our room was quaint and comfortable! We should have stayed longer!

The place was great. Very spacious, friendly staff and quiet as it is out in the woods. Very nice big breakfast. My only complaint was I made It to check in close to 9:30 and it was completely dark and no way to get in. I know it was off season but they said check in was closed at 8, but when I looked Back at my reservation it said 9:30. I probably Would have still missed it but I didnt know how small of a place it was and that it was a time slot. That was my bad but it got me a little frazzled because there was no cell service out there to call, I had To drive into the nearest town. But they were totally helpful.

Very quiet and out of the way if that is what you are looking for. Need to bring your own shampoo and hair dryer if you need any of the little extras. No TV which was ok by me.

They were very hospitable and pleasant. Cozy, quiet retreat. At the end of the road, set in serene forest, and there is restaurant on site too! After hustle and bustle of crowds while traveling, this was a welcomed rest!

Homespun and Unique property tucked into the forest at the base of a mountain. Check in done in the restaurant/bar but staff is VERY friendly and super accommodating so don’t be shy about asking where to check in. Rooms are simple, efficient, and a bit outdated but really neat and clean. Room included a large comfy bed, small sectional sofa, table/chairs and mini fridge. Babbling brook outside our balcony added to the great sleep. No AC or TV, but we did not need/want that. No frills room but food at breakfast and dinner was awesome! Farm to table focus with locally sourced meats and veggies from their garden was a BIG bonus for us. Hiking trails all around property or drive 30 min to Triglav Park for great hikes.

Beautiful location to retreat from the mayhem of Lake Bled. At the entrance to a beautiful mountain park, the hotel offered both excellent food and access to superb walking. The archery lesson organised by the hotel was outstanding.
