We had a room #302 with a big jacuzzi - which was a treat. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast came at the time requested and was delightful.
I’m not sure that we got the “deluxe room with kitchenette” that we requested - although the room did have a mini fridge and Nespresso machine. We would have enjoyed having a comfortable chair or small sofa for sitting though. Please note that if you are arriving by car, it is very difficult to find this place and parking is also a problem.
It felt a bit like a “Alice in Wonderland” experience.

Very unique room with giant juquzzi in the middle. Gawdy but fun decor- brothelsj! Great, helpful staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Solar Antigo in Coimbra. It’s one of the most uniquely decorated places we’ve stayed! Great location on a narrow street inside the city walls, which made it a bit challenging to find. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer and took good care of us.
