Room was a bit outdated but bed was comfy and in a great location. Heating was on the whole time which was nice, was unsure how to turn this down though. Lots of towels provided! Interesting painting on walls

I had bed bugs in my room and have multiple bites. The shower only had cold water. The air conditioner didn’t work. When I told staff I had bed bugs in my room they moved me to a different room and were very respectful. The hotel room wasn’t clean but the staff was very nice.

Very clean room and bathroom, quiet and comfortable. The self check-in was clear and easy, the building was also easy to find and close to the touristic center (10-15 minutes walking), bus stops (easy to get from-to the train station), a supermarket & mini market, and restaurants. The rooms are at the top floor with no elevator (3 floors to climb, ~60 steps), but it was manageable. It was essential to rest after days of sightseeing such a beautiful city!

There was no hot water at all for the first day and a half so the showers were freezing. No sheets on the second bed. Staff that i communicated with prior were very nice but didn’t see any staff while we were there. Great location. Easy access

The room had no hot water, so the host suggested we use the common bathroom, which also had no hot water. We spoke with other guests and they were having the same experience. The hot water heater area in our bathroom had tools laying out which made me think that they knew it was an issue and it was not corrected when we arrived. The room itself was great and the location is good.

Very good location and accessible to old town. Instructions for access clear when property and keypad identified from street level. Room was spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom. Aircon unit was important. Photo might help. Communications clear on day. Not so after the local tax paid. Room was 3rd floor stairs only walk. Could be an issue for some?

This place was not worth the price with the condition and extra mile you had to do to get here along with 3 flight of stairs when getting into the building. This place is kinda hard to find if taking public transportation and having to walk because it doesn’t get you all the way there unless of course you used a taxi. The room itself was in okay condition but was dirty. Upon arrival the bed was cover in bugs and dirt and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, there is also an awkward sun roof right in the middle of the bed which being light in the morning as you sleep and you don’t get good rest because of that and the bed it self being complete lopsided other problem was the a/c it did not functional worked well and stop randomly and would not turn back on nor would it stay on. The bathroom is right next to you which is greatly convenient but also loud with the other guest who stay. The communication was good upon arrival. The hallway which was nice had water to drink. This place would be a last resort if you needed to stay here: you don’t get any sleep and itch all night.

This property can only be described as…broken. Everything had something wrong with it - the door handle to the bathroom broke so my travel buddy and I had to have the door wide open at all times, plug sockets hanging out of the walls, toilet doesn’t flush properly etc etc. This just made the whole experience of the room pretty rubbish. We weren’t greeted by anyone which we didn’t really mind but with the state of the room I wasn’t surprised that we never saw the owner to be honest. It’s such a shame too because the room is in such a brilliant location. If you’re looking for somewhere just to sleep and don’t care about a good quality of room then this is fine but I wish I had listened to the previous reviews on this one and rethought my booking.

the “private” bathroom was down the hall with a problematic toilet. When it overflowed during the night the manager yelled at us like we had done something wrong. The manager could not be found most of the time (other guests were trying to leave their keys with me!). The morning I came into the public space and the manager was wandering around in his underwear was a little much

Relatively good parking facilities. Close to center and good restaurants. Due to an injury had to leave the hotel after checking in - room on 3. floor, no elevator and description on the website is nor clear enough. No view from the windows - very small - and a shared bathroom

I ended up having to spend the night in Verona last minute, and I’m glad I chose this place. Check in was quick and easy, staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect. It’s right on the river and it’s just a short walk through town to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended!

I arrived late around 9:00 pm, but Paolo met me and did not take extra payment for it. I am very grateful for that. The location is the best - everything is within walking distance. At the same time the place is quiet. I liked that there was a kettle in the room, chamomile tea and cookies were available. In the mornings, Paolo made coffee. My room was small, but for one the size was quite suitable. There is one bathroom on the floor, sometimes there was a line, but it was not long to wait.

This Superior Double had a wardrobe consisting of a chair with a couple of hangers on the back, and the private (actually very nice) bathroom that was downstairs off the reception. Making a bit more space in the room (take the couch out and put the tv on the wall), adding a clothes rail,dressing table and a bedside table with a lamp would make this room so much better. Hope he sorts this out as he seemed like a really nice guy whos trying to do the right thing.

The room was nice and cozy. Everything was nicely laid out for my stay. The shared bathroom was also quite clean. Only downside was the street can be quite loud at night, but you can close the window to help muffle the noise. I would stay there again!

We arrived early and the hosts made us both expresso‘s, much needed in the cold Verona weather. We were able to leave our bags and check in later. The room was clean and the bathroom although shared was conveniently next door to our room. The location is around 10mins to the Arena and 3 mins from Castel Vecchio.
