Personable staff. Mario was there to assist with our late check-in. Would have been better if my Spanish speaking ability was more advanced. Kitchen is well supplied. WIFI is available, TV is not. Walking distance to the La Cruz Sunday market via the beach was a bonus. New high rise construction on both sides was a bit of a detriment. Had a nice stay overall.

Jardin del Mar exceeded my expectations. The property is beautifully landscaped with both small and large patios in several areas. The room (Delphin) was clean, well maintained and equipped with all of the basic amenities needed for our stay.
First and foremost was the view! The property is right on the beach. We watched whales, porpoises, sea turtles every day! The onsite kayaks were great for excursions out to get a closer look at the whales.
The town area is about a 15 minute walk along the beach. There are a number of restaurants with a wide range of foods and prices. Don't miss La Cata in the fish market area or La Balina Blanca for their shrimp tacos! Be advised that at high tide, you may have to climb on the rocks for short intervals to keep your shoes dry. Don't ask how we know that.
Mario and Yolanda seemed to appear out of nowhere whenever we had a question. Both were very helpful during our stay. In short, it is a beautiful property and I am making plans to return.

Had a great stay at this beautiful property. The room, the view, the pool and the grounds were all splendid. The staff, especially Mario, were all very friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk on the beach into town. We hope to stay again in the future, and would highly recommend it especially for those looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.
